So how is everyone doing so far in the crazy recruiting world. Ive been trying a little here and there and ive seen alot of Bonn and BFM, looks like they are doing good so far. Anyone have any commits yet?

We lost out on that WR that went with Kai, as you prolly already know. The incomings I have are from connections. Damned hard for us to get new blood onto the Rage. The minute you see a quality guy on the market, the who's who of GLB drop in and dash any possibilities of recruiting them.

That guy went to Halifax Explosion, they were just fuckin with Kai to get their hopes up, lol. But yeah i know what you mean. All the top guys wanna go to teams that are top 3 in a division/league or just won their leagues title. BFM should have no prob recruiting now. We are losing only like 5 people, no one too big though. And so far have a WR, RB(already signed), and CB comign in

Yeah I plan on taking roster snapshots today to compare with tomorrow.
Like Mavooo though I may post in a lot of FA threads, but I get drowned out by the high rollers too for the most part. Most of my additions are going to be through connections also. Since the BFM game I've already signed 4 players from the recently folded Las Vegas Freebirds of USPL, a team I played on since season 1.

We're losing 3 players and gaining 3 players (already lined up).
I don't bother with the madness of the recruiting forums unless I absolutely have to, those forums are just for people to get their ego's stroked watching owners drool over their level 60 WR (who's probably loaded up on crap SA's).
Most additions to the Cardiff squad over the past few seasons have been from agents already associated with the team, I don't like venturing outside my circle of associates.

I will say this, it's nice being successful and at the top. I've had several agents PM me because they want to be on the team and I've had to turn some away. I remember in the good ole days not having much, if any, option to choose.

It would be really cool if we had one of those wepl newspapers and had a breakdown of everyone additions and departing players. And someone can give each team an offseason Grade...would be cool. I volunteer Mavooo
