I tried to do this before Week 13, but I got side-tracked. It is a bit less interesting - albeit, much easier - but I hope it is still fun to read.

WEST

The playoff teams are all set, it is just a matter of positioning now. Dallas has won the conference and Easy Company is assured the #2 seed. Four teams are tied for the two remaining opening-round home games, with SNK and Seattle holding an advantage on tiebreakers over the others courtesy of their records vs. the other three (2-1 each).

Remaining Schedule

(10-4 Teams)
SNK: 21-7
Seattle: 18-10
Tijuana: 16-12
Minnesota: 11-17

(9-5 Teams)
Fresno: 5-12-1
Tallahasse: 14-14

My prediction

3. SNK
4. Tijuana
5. Seattle
6. Minnesota
7. Fresno
8. Tallahassee

EAST

Not as clear, but 75% of the playoff slots have been decided.

Atlanta: Guaranteed HFA for first round. Magic Number for Conference: 1. (Likely Opening Round Opponent: Indianapolis)

Naperville: Guaranteed HFA for first round. Magic number for #2 seed: 1. Conference is a foregone conclusion because Atlanta is not losing to BOTH Pittsburgh and Hawaii. (Likely Opening Round Opponent: Cleveland)

Crimson: Guaranteed HFA for first round. Can win conference, but highly unlikely. Magic number for #3 seed: 1. (Likely Opening Round Opponent: Milwaukee)

New York: Magic number for HFA in first round: 1. Needs to win out and have Crimson lose both to get #3. Can finish as low as #6. (Likely Opening Round Opponent: St. Louis)

St. Louis: Holds tiebreaker over Milwaukee for #5 seed. Loses tie-breaker to New York, so needs to win out and have New York lose both games.

Milwaukee: Must win out and have St. Louis lose both games to move up to #5. Can also move up to #4 if New York loses out as well.

The #7 and #8 seeds are all still up for grabs with no team having a Magic Number of less than two.

Remaining Schedules

Indianapolis: 22-6
Cleveland: 12-16
Mustangs: 27-1
New orleans: 21-7
Columbus: 5-23
Maine: 15-13
Sin City: 11-20
Pittsbigh: 22-6

The only team I can see having a real shot of flying up is Columbus. Despite being 6-8 and in command, Indianapolis is going to need help as they stand a very good chance of losing both games.

Thank you for the post Trendon. I appreciate your prediction of SNK winning #3 but I think Crimson will give us the toughest game we've had yet. I hope we win, but one things for sure it will be a good one.

Well, I figured you'd both go 11-5, but you have the tie-breaker.

I like your prediction. As long as we win tomorrow, we should advance to the playoffs. I was optimistic about Cleveland losing last week and really making it easy for us, but they won.

All I gotta says is - Atlanta, Naperville watch out

Just kidding, we will get crushed first round.

I dont see how Minnesota can lose to be honest with you. Ive crunched the numbers. They're surging late in the season, that gives 'em the big MO, combine that with superior coaching, and an underrated cast of fine, upstanding players, and it looks to be a lock -- that is, barring, some cosmic disorder.

I just dont see the mistakes of earlier this season repeating. Its a team of Destiny.

As a Packer fan I am used to greatness from my football players, this is true. And though I loathe the sports teams of Minnesota, I am encouraged by the spirit I see on this team, the tenacity, the drive to out perform the opposition.

We shall see in 7 hours, I don't wanna give the Tijuana Donkey Show any lockerroom material, so I'll leave it like that.

We just beat them in the final week with our backups, so I can't see how you can possibly lose.

GG Naperville. So close, and so frustrating to try a kick so late when we needed a TD. Your kicker destroyed us. 47.5 yarder was key.

Better watch out for us next season!

Tom that was a great game. I Think your team has taken huge steps this year and will be ready to compete for the top seeds next year.
