Round 2 looks to match the excitement of Round 1, where every game was a competitive contest.
1. Rhode Island vs. 5. Liberty City - RI's offense took a nosedive in their first round game, where Ohio Valley's defense played with pride. Liberty City used the big play to "upset" Indianapolis on the road. I still like RI, even with a down offense, because their defense rarely lets up the kind of big plays that LC used to win. But this will be a very close game and RI is fortunate they have the #1 seed.
2. Cochabamba vs. Chin Kickers - Chin Kickers looked fantastic in the regular season meeting, winning 24-0. The Pirates just came off a very hard fought win vs. Orlando and are looking for revenge. Given their winning streak when I pick against them, Cochabamba is hoping I pick against them one more time. And I do - I like the Chin Kickers, but in a much more competitive game.
That will set up:
1. RIRW vs. 3. Chin Kickers. At this point, I like the Chin Kickers, unless RI plays significantly better on offense in its next game.
