Zeta can't have all the fun so I'll put something here real quick.

1 - FootballForum Fighting Danes 14-2 http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1885
vs
8 - E-City Mercenaries 9-6-1 http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=265

Previous Meeting: S9G16 FFFD won 36-23 http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=475820
Outlook: Rematch from two days ago, can FFFD win two games in a row vs E-City? Probably, but could certainly still be a good game like the regular season finale.

=====================================

4 - Portland Rage 13-3 http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=263
vs
5 - West Wales Warriors 11-5 http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=633

Previous Meeting: S9G5 Portland won convincingly 57-24, but WWW seemed to get thing together mid-season so let's see how this turns out, could be very exciting. Both squads have very capable coordinating, but I think overall Portland has the edge, but wouldn't surprise me terribly if WWW won.

=====================================

2 - Paris Dream Bolts 13-3 http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1886
vs
7 - Greenwood Alley cat 10-6 http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=636

Previous Meeting: S9G4 Greenwood won 38-16 http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=475823
Outlook: Greenwood won earlier in the season and Paris had the #1 seed locked up until a surprise loss, at least to me, to Paris Phillies. So, who knows, hoepfully a good dramatic game

=====================================

3 - Bonn Dynamo 13-3 http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=637
vs
6 - Graz Grizzlies 10-5-1 http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=624

Previous Meeting: S9G13 Bonn won 47-13 http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=475875
Outlook: Bonn has been pretty hot of late, finishing league play on a 13-1 streak and some convincing Pro scrimmage wins against other playoff teams. graz has shown trouble putting up points vs the top seeded teams while Bonn has not. I look for Bonn to pull this out.

Agree with you on Wales. I wouldnt be surprised if any of the teams won except for E-city. Sorry guys.

(feeble attempt at inspiring E-city to upset the Danes)

I think E-City will keep it a lot closer than people expect. They're a good team, and FFFD isn't the dominant blow-you-out kind of squad.

Bonn by a ton, GAC by at least two possessions are my other two predictions.

I really don't know what to make of our matchup with Portland. Pretty much anything could happen, and I wouldn't be too shocked if they just blew us out of the water again. But the way we're both playing right now, I'd say we should give them a much better fight. I hope so anyway .

LRATS EDITION OF ALPHA PLAYOFF PREDICTIONS!!!!!!!!!
No. 1 Seed Footballforum Fighting Danes (14-2) vs. No. 8 Seed E-City Mercenaries (9-6-1)
The Fighting Danes have only lost 2 games this entire season, and have earned the first seed in the Alpha Conference. They play the 8th seeded Mercenaries. I thought the Mercs would finish much higher early in the season, but they have had rough patches throughout the season. They lost two games in a row coming into this game. They also played FFFD one game ago. They played a decent game against the Danes, but I don't see them pulling this out. The Danes have been a powerful team all season, and I don't see them letting up against the Mercs now. Expect the Danes to advance to the next round.
prediction: FFFD wins 45-21

No. 2 Seed Paris Dream Bolts (13-3) vs. No. 7 Seed Greenwood Alley Cat (10-6)
The Dream Bolts are probably one of the most dangerous teams out there. The second seed also shows the toughness. PDB as a great chance of getting to the final game. The Alley Cat, i think, Will fall short in this game. Like E-City, their early season success could not sustain them to a high seed. I see PDB dominating this game. Consider is payback for GACs beatdown of the Dream Bolts early in the season. It could be close, but it might not be. I'm taking the Dream Bolts in this one.
prediction: Dream Bolts win 55-32

No. 3 Seed Bonn Dynamo (13-3) vs. No. 6 Seed Graz Grizzlies (10-5-1)
Bonn have also been very dominant after a slow start. I think this could spell trouble for the Grizzlies. Even though Bonn is a tough team I think the Grizzlies will make it a close battle. It will be close despite the fact that Bonn destroyed the Graz in their last meeting. I think this game will be surprisingly close, however, Bonn will still come out on the top of this one. It should be an interesting playoffs, and this game might pique people's interest.
prediction: Bonn wins a surprisingly close one 21-17

No. 4 Seed Portland Rage (13-3) vs. No. 5 Seed West Wales Warriors (11-5)
Well this one is probably the most interesting match-up in the first round. The West Wales Warriors have been the surprise of the season. In their last meeting the WWW got owned by Portland, but this time it could be much, much different. I would not be surprised at all if the Warriors pulled out a victory upset against the Rage. However, I am not legally allowed to say that it will happen...which I don't think anyway. The Rage will win against the Warriors, but if it was against any other team I might pick the other way.
prediction: Portland wins a close game

Hey, do I get to play the "No Respect" card now? Nice reads, we'll see whether I can fix the things that plagued us two days ago against the Danes.

Thanks for knocking out those predictions Lrats...even though it looks like you think GAC is going to get a beat down put on them

A "GAC beat down"? I liked it better when you had exams LRats!

Nice write up once again!

There is no way GAC is going to get beat down. If anything, they're going to be the ones doing the beating. PDB is a great team, but for whatever reason they just don't match up well with GAC.

I hope you're right but they don't seem like the same team we played early in the season...I'd be happy with getting the win on a fluke play or something, don't care if we win because we were better or because we were luckier.

They are not. They are definitely a tough out. Good luck!
