I start off by training the attribute to 30, then apply SP as follows

Speed - 3rd cap - done
Agility - 2nd cap
Tackling - 1st cap
Strength - 1st cap
Vision - 3rd cap
Jumping - 1st cap
Stamina - 1st cap
Tackling - 2nd cap
Strength - 2nd cap

What position do you think he would be suited at? Do you agree or disagree with the build philosophy?

you shouldn't wait till 30 to cap something. That's waiting too long.

You could easily have had the first two portions of your plan all but done if you wouldn't have waited.

(vision was 2 capped a long time ago and agility is almost 3 capped... will be by lvl 19.)

As far as your other question is concerned... he's pretty versatile because of the speed and agility. However, if you want to focus him some more... then you would either hit up vision or strength sooner. The direction you go with those won't necessarily limit your successes in each spot, but it can effect how effective you are overall.

Let me break my build down a little better. I started off with the basic slow-build start. I trained as high as I could until I saved enough SP to cap my first attribute, which was Agility by the way because of the better increments. I then started dumping SP into Speed to get it to the 3rd cap while training STR and Tackling which are both almost at 30 now. Agility is 2 SP away from 2nd cap so I will finish that off and then move to Tackling, while training my Vision with Jumping. They should both be 30 by the time I get to them. This is my build right now

Attributes
Physical Attributes

Football Skills
Blocking: 14.25
Catching: 14.25
Tackling: 31.61

It's fine, it's a lot better than a guy with no plan. Probably going to be better at ROLB since speed is high and agility isn't 3rd capped.

agility could eventually get capped

If you can get to about 90 speed, 85 agility, and 70 vision, and find a piece of shutdown coverage AEQ, you can cover any TE and HB in the game.

so regardless of lb position you should always 3rd cap spd and agility first?
