Texas bitch slapping compton was a huge upset this week and compton will have to dig deep and get back on track next week, which they should.
Compton plays the spartans next week, a team playing for next year, and i see them getting back on track with a 3 score win against the over matched spartans. Compton should have 10 wins by next week.
The MEM and SDL game did not fail to disappoint, and lived up to the billing. MEMs defense totally shut down SDLs passing game, which had a whole 90 yards in the game total. 90 yards! two interceptions off of tipped passes highlights MEMs defensive effort. However SDLs top special teams unit gave SDLs offense some short fields to work with, but MEM held strong, and the game came down to the wire, with MEM winning the game on one of their characteristic 6 minute clock-eating drives.
SDL play the rising roughnecks next week, and this game is shaping up to be a doozy. SDL hasnt been making friends the last few weeks with many teams and this game will highlight this growing trend. These two teams have no love lost for each other for sure, and this game will shape the playoff spots for both teams. Texas can really put a cherry on top of their first season in pro with a win here, and this game is going to be a close one!
The hedgehogs insane fall from elite status continues. I honestly didnt believe they would fall this far. They play the marauders next week, and this game has some playoff implications for both teams. Minny has some teams clawing for their spot, and they need to continue building momentum for the playoffs.
In the eastern conference, the golfers continue their meteoric rise up the ranks with a big victory over the red dots. The red dots started this game flat, and the golfers cmae out firing, taking every opportunity. The red dots lost this one, but showed some heart, playing this game to the wire, putting 21 points on a good alpine defense in the fourth quarter. The golfers play the visiting shockers team, and this game is going to be a great game, especially with Alpine playing some damn good football in the latter half of this season.
Another upset this week was OFG beating Las Vegas by 23 points on the back of Big Shirley. This game thrusts them into the 6th place in the competitive eastern conference. They now have the underrated gurupies next week, and with the gurupies losing to the bullets this week due to 3 interceptions and a fumble that gifted the bullets another chance of making the playoff this season.
The royals play the bullets this week, and this game could very well decide who makes the playoffs as the 8th seed. look for the bullets to continue their late season surge and beat the royals by ten.
The wolfpack drove chicagos face even more into the dirt this week, laying 65 points on chicagos defense and holding chicago to just two field goals. The wolfpack are on the hunt and they continue to pile pressure on MEM and their game next week is my GAME OF THE WEEK.

Thats IF, and IF they can control the clock better than MEM does, a tall order!
