I am just wondering if anyone can clear up what will happen next season. From my understanding is that when team from A - AAA move up they follow the pyramid and with BBB teams just move up from BBB 16 to BBB 1. Does this mean if 20 teams from higher leveled leagues go CPU that the top 20 teams will move to BBB #8? If so what will happen with the league caps?

I wouldnt mind moving up to a 34 or 32 capped league next season.

I thought BBB teams follow the pyramid too, unless this is something new.

BBB gets promoted to A, A promoted to AA, AA promoted to AAA, AAA promoted to Pro. The lower the number in BBB, i.e. BBB #1, would help you find yourself in an A league where you would be similar to the other teams.

BBB 9 would move into A 5. Unless you have one hell of a team you'll find yourself at the bottom end of the level range and could be seriously out-classed.

You should almost feel sorry for those in BBB 7-8,11-14. Moving up will find themselves in an uncapped league where the level average between 33-35 on the low end to 57-60 on the high.

Teams like Graceland lvl avg 27 (starters), Cincinnati lvl 27 (starters), Salem lvl 23 (starters), Vatican lvl 27 (starters), most likely promoted, will face the issue of finding higher level players to have a shot at cracking the top 8, or spending at least 2-4 seasons in A level before being possibly able to compete and move up to AA level.

Currently things are more weighted towards the teams with the S2-4 players than anything else while those with the S6-7 will slowly be progressing upwards. Keeping that in mind the NY Grizzlies upon reforming the squad 2 seasons ago already had in mind not getting promoted back into A level until around S11.

I think they reshuffle the BBB leagues again, bort said something about the shuffling only being half done. Maybe the winners of the top end BBB leagues will get promoted.

I have no intention of adding players to Salem, it would completely ruin the whole point of the team

The DoW are in that boat, too, but for different reasons. The players are my priority, and I'm not interested in replacing them with higher level guys to compete in A. We'll just have to grow into it... or get pummeled trying

I've known a few teams that spent 3 seasons going up and down before finally staying at the A level.

This is at least partly correct I think.

From what I got of what Bort said during the off-season, is that they plan to continue the reshuffle to the A and AA leagues this coming off-season, and the leagues are supposed to promote laterally and then vertically. This means that BBB #16 moves up to BBB #15 and up the BBB chain. Teams from BBB#1 would promote to A #16 and then up.

In fairness, there is so much transition in this game, at the end of each season he has to react to what the current situation is.

These guys are right about the "who knows" part for sure, but I would think that after he gets all the reshuffle done, the promo/demo would go this way permanent like. The caps on the various leagues would probably adjust on a yearly basis to a certain extent tho.
