I have CBs with 60+ catching and jumping. None of them get INTS. Does anyone out there have any idea how to get INTs?

it is a lot more complicated than pumping up catching and jumping... your cb has to be able to read the pass and physically get there to make the play. catching and jumping are secondary to speed agility and vision.

INT totals are pretty meaningless without context... like what spot on the depth chart they are, what league they are in... when i see a lvl 45 CB in BBB make 15 INTs i don't presume that he automatically has a better build than someone who catches 7 in AAA.

Do you play number 1 corner every game?
Are your tactics set to medium aggressive? you won't get much int's playing close coverage. you still will get them but you have a better chance on medium coverage.
Are you playing in cover 3 in obvious passing situations, like 2nd and 13 or 3rd and 10?
Do you have the right v.a's?

More importantly, are you fast/agile enough to stay with receivers, and do you have the right SAs . . .

I would normally say that these types of AE are useless, buuut...I have a piece of AE with catch ball chance %. Since I equipped it on one of my CBs he has 15 INTs in the past season and a half. He does play mostly as the #3 so he already has an advantage, but big coincidence...

this. especially the close coverage one. You're less likely to get thrown to in close coverage. In medium you can "bait" the QB into throwing the ball and use your DB's natural quickness & ballhawk to get into position to intercept it.

My corner has 54 jumping and catching naturally, 69 catching with equipment. Lvl 32 without his level 32 equip yet. I also bought a AEQ that he is wearing with +2 jump catch, +3 catching, +1 Confidence. He has some other 1 hand catch AEQ that he's not wearing. I'm probably going to sell the AEQ's though.. He does well with interceptions since the beginning of his career and he's entertaining to watch. He has problems with deep routes but other than that hes pretty solid. He is a 5th string corner on his team because they are scarred to take a chance on him but he has 2 picks this year and 1 FF on his limited playing time.

I understand the answers tailored to getting INT... but a great corner is one who doesnt get thrown to

theres different kinds of corners just like there are different kinds of HBs. some CBs are playmakers that just love that ball, and others are shutdowns that just dont get thrown at. 1 shutdown and 1 play maker would be ideal, since the shutdown guy will force the throw to the playmaker, which is just asking for a pick. point is that there are great corners who get thrown at, they are just a different kind of CB.

I think thats not 100% true because even if you arent getting thrown at, someone else on your team is. Which then leads to the question, would you rather be thrown at 20 times a game and get 15 PDs or have your team mates get thrown at 20 times and give up more than 10 catches?
