Why doesn't that guy play on a real team? I didn't think season 1 lvl 56+ guys would go slum it in the low leagues until player decline set in

his team is 10-1 and he's playing with in the suggested levels...maybe he realizes "the pros" are just a "I got here first" club.

Really? It's quite possible to make it to the Pros from BBB. About 5 teams from AAA move up to Pros every season. Hell, a few of the teams in usapl were in A the same time as that team. Is this the thing teams with lvl 50+ talent are telling themselves lately?
If you've been in A since season 4, your team isn't any good. That safety seems good though.
USA A7 has always been tough though. Took the golfers an extra season to get out of there. Some of the teams i see are still around. Red Raiders and roadfrogs looking like they'll finally get out of there.

There is no "glamour" to the pro's until GLB hits season 15 or so, at that point players will be recruited on merit, at least a bit more then level, like it is now. If you like you're player, and how he's playing, well I'm happy for you.
Players advance quickly early on, then hit an xp wall, at that point there is no catching up since all serious players are boosting. This means that a player that started in season 4 (like mine) will always be 45 sp behind a season 1 player. That's fact. So when people brag about the pro's I don't get upset, I just look at it as the league for people who found out about GLB before me. Hopefully, a bit of parity will ensue after season 10, when players start to decline, but until then I hope all you pro-leaguer's keep feeling special.

We are on our way to the pro's. then you better believe I will be challenging every pro team in sight, once we get real good.

There are a few good slow build guys in their 40s in the pros. Hell, our starting RB is a season 3 lvl 46 guy. He's a fucking beast.
There are lots of problems with the economics of GLB and the way the Pros work. There really isn't any incentive to play in the Pros except fame which is pointless. less incentive for a team to make it up there. I dunno.
Also, teams are still moving up. Being in A is nothing to brag about and after season 10 things aren't going to drastically change. All the shitty teams floundering in A who believe this are in for a shock when the better built and managed teams still keep passing them buy, farm league teams are better without trying because of management, and a lot of the Pro teams barely skip a beat. I've been from BBB to Pro and Underdogs will probably be in Pro next year from the lower leagues. Some teams make it, some don't. Everyone won't get a chance at the top.
Underdogs- You guys in the fast track or are you still having to pull an upset? I thought there was a fair amount of gutjobs in africa pro so you guys should have some extra chances to move up.

I gotta say I have no control over the african team my S.S. happens to play for.
Now the team I own in Western europe BBB which dudly is a part of has a real good chance at being one of the best pro league teams on this game in about 4-5 seasons. no lie.

That's cool. There are some really good slow build teams that started in season 2 and 3 in AAA and even a few in pros already and they're looking good. That's what's funny about the guys in USA A with season 2 or 3 players who really think they're going to vault to the pros in 2 seasons. Yea, it looks like your BBB teams is on the right track already. Next season if i get bored i might start calling some defensive plays for our BBB farm team, but right now we're just trying to get some tests done on custom D plays. With changes to the sim every week, it's hard to get a grasp on the best ones.

I'm kinda worried with the new promotion system, actually. It's definitely a good idea, but for a new 13-capped team it's going to take a while for my BBB team to advance if we're moving laterally.
