and what should the speed/agility difference be - what should you strive for?

100 speed, 85 agility?
95 speed, 80 agility?

what is a good end game for a CB?

I'm pretty happy with 90 speed.
90/85 would be pretty nice

planning on 100/85

I had 95/70 and changed equipment to make it 91/74 on a level 28 CB

at level 32 I will make it 91/78, 40 91/82 or so - higher with the level up bonuses, though they are small - may just leave it there

natural is 73.37 speed and 70.37 agility

plus I'll have 7 in Shutdown corner from equipment and by level 40 that will be 9, so speed and agility will get a bonus as well

CB's dont need 100+ speed to keep up with a 100+ speed reciever.

I would say 90speed/85agility is perfect.

because you are not starting side by side with the WR, your starting up the feild a bit. Gives you a little cushion.

Also, even if the WR can get past the CB it takes time to get up to that full speed and get past the CB, time the QB usually doesnt have.

What's that? I can't hear you all the way back there...

100+ speed got me 13 pick 6's this year = speed kills. That plus ballhawk means you have time to smoke a cig before the ball gets there.

With WRs getting faster u should have 1 DB per team who can go with them, and it's not just for MTM u can get to the ball faster and have an impact or get sacks/hurries not to mention P6s

I don't think anything over 100 is needed if you have adequate Agility, Vision, Strength, etc.

youre also in a BBB league... as a lvl 44, so you should have a good stat line. if you didnt i would seriously question your build.
but you really dont need 100. 7 of the 8 picks i got this year were brought back for 6 and i only have 90 speed. you really dont need that much, and with the addition of ball hawk, you could maybe even get away with less. but imo, 90 speed is enough. out the rest of your EQ in agility or maybe even vision if your agility is good (within 10 of speed.)

I think 80+ agility is plenty. My goal is 100/80

95/95 FTW.
