Hey, I'm just wondering how big of a factor Vision is to helping a QB find an open receiver. I was just looking at this play in particular

The HB seems like the obvious choice here yet I still throw to the WR in coverage. Around what would my vision be do you think to change that up?

My vision is at 70 and I dont have much of a problem throwing it to the obvious choice and in stride (or tucking it away and running for that matter if everyone is heavily covered). My throwing and str suffer a little, but I've always been a big fan of vision.

That being said, If you're talking about your level 4 QB. Pump everything into throwing, hand the ball off 95% of the time, high five for wins. Dont worry about anything else until you at least soft cap throwing, (maybe even double cap it).

My opinion is that vision has very little relation to your QB making actual "logical" decisions. Instead it's simply a matter of a hit/miss role to see a receiver or not.

My guy has pretty high vision and I continually watch him either miss a logical check to a receiver and throw somewhere into coverage, or see him blow a WR with a 3-4 step lead only to target that WR after the DB has caught up.
