They see me rollin, they be hatin!
1. Bandar Lampung Pigskin Pirates
This team is rolling right now. Undefeated half way through the season with a gut job up next. They got here by throwing the most TD (while throwing the fewest interceptions), allowing the fewest rushing TDs and allowing the second fewest passing TDs. Old rivals in The Hitmen and ESL are just around the corner. Look for this perenial power house to make a deep playoff run.

2. East St Louis Tire Fires
At any point of the season this team is worthy of the title "Number 1." Their reputation alone precedes their record. With the best turnover ratio as they lead the league in Interceptions, Forced Fumbles, and Fumble Recoveries. This team is always a favorite to be in the championship and anything less would fall short of their expectations. They hit a speed bump in the Mountain Men earlier this season but make no doubt, we will see this team deep in the playoffs later this season.

You know if Rocky IV went to the score cards he would have lost, good thing he knocked him out and ended single handedly ended The Cold War...

3. Cambodia Mountainmen
This team came into SEAPL with a head of steam. They came in and made an immediate impact knocking off the defending champions in the third game of the season. They ran into BLPP in week 7 and then didn't have their strongest preformance against 12th place Buddhists. They are starting to lose a little bit of that steam and are no longer flying under anyones radar With 6 possible playoff teams left on their schedule it will be intresting to see how they finish the season. The last game of the season against the Marauders should be a true test before the playoffs.

4. Singapore Marauders
Singarpore has taken a few lumps this season, against the Leathernecks and BLPP. They still have ESL on their schedule and the Mountain Men could decide whether or not Singapore has a home playoff game. The pass defense has looked suspect at time allowing The 4th most yards but still managing to allow the second fewest TDs. Let's see how long this bend but don't break defense holds up.

5. Okinawa Leathernecks
Okinawa has had the hardest schedule up to this point and come out fairly unscathed. With a win over the Marauders and great showing against the Mountain Men this team has a much easier 8 games ahead of them. This team still has to make some moves to be among the elite in SEAPL but they are definately on the right path and at times on the cusp of being truly great.

Football Cliches 101, Step it up... Take it to the next level... ONE GAME AT A TIME. 6 teams fighting for 3 spots.... may the force be with you.

6. Pa Dong Dragons
In contrast to Okinawa, this team has had a fairly easy first 8 games with the meat of their schedule in the second half. This Team is absolutely STACKED with talent, but can they put the pieces together to make a serious run into the playoffs? They rank in the bottom half of the conference in most offensive stats. And they have only played one team with a winning record, the good thing is they have beat quite a few teams they could end up in a tie breaker with at the end of the season. They will make the playoffs but how deep they go is questionable.

7. Anchorage Northern Lights
They are in a bit of trouble as they have dropped 3 straight but with 3 out of their next for games being against sub .500 teams they can definately right the ship. Plus they still have GUFC left so 8-8 is pratically a lock and one more win could definately secure up a playoff spot for this team.

8. Krugdthep Garudas
These next few teams have played each other and have some combination of beating each other. I have The Garudas coming out fairly clean as they still have both gut jobs left. and they definately hold their fate in their own hand as their game against the Hitmen will probably decide their playoff fate.

9. Duluth Bulldogs
Currently 5-3 and in 7th place, but their remaining schedule has trouble written all over it. With the Marauders up next and the leathernecks waiting in the wings they Bulldogs could be in for a rough stretch of games. They also have The Mountain Men and BLPP still on their plate. Their loss to the Garudas earlier this season could be the only thing holding them out of the playoffs back to back seasons.

10. Manila Hitmen
It's hard for me to have this team not making the playoffs, but with ESL up next followed immediately by BLPP the road ahead is not looking great for The Hitmen. They end the season with 4 games against teams all fighting for their playoff lives. Even with a late push an early loss to The Jungle Raiders might be all that keeps the Hitmen out of the playoffs.

11. Rangoon Flying Tigers
Their 4 wins this season come against teams with a combined record of 4-28. They have had poor showings agaisnt every other team in the league with a decent record. Their upcoming schedule is brutal with just about every big name in the league ahead of them. They have an outside shot at making the playoffs.

Tim Tebow is going back to college, and you guys don't get to draft anyone anyways!

12. Singapore Buddhists
A talented team with a win over Pa Dong and decent showings againsts The Mountain Men and the Northern Lights. This team could definately make some noise next season or spoil some playoff dreams this season as their last 3 games are against bubble playoff teams.

13. Pattaya Jungle Raiders
The highlight of their season was an early win over Manila Hitmen. They could play a roll in playoff seeding with their next game with the Northern lights but that will be their only playoff experience.

14. Quahog Drunken Clams
They have struggled since their arrival in SEAPL. They need to make some moves to right the ship but it will take a couple seasons. Good luck!

Good stuff g-bay. The Mountain Men realize that they haven't done anything yet. BLPP put us in our place and we knew that the Buddhist (our AAA championship foe) would be out for revenge (not to mention embarrassing ourselves in the APL challenge). We have a long ways to go and a short time to get there. We just hope we can run like the "Bandit."

Now hold up...

We have played Krungthep, Anchorage, and Duluth as well as ESL. All 4 teams have winning records lol
And you also have to remember we have 3 games against the 14,15, and 16 place teams so don't count us out yet from the top 5...

duluth has a winning record, but the other teams are 4-4... you still got the marauders, BLPP, and the mountain men. you're game against okinawa will determine a lot.

I think you mean they only beat one team with a winning record

very good read, though. Hard to argue with those spots the way things currently stand.

4-4 is. 500....I consider it a winning record....o well. We'll see....I just want to make the playoffs and not have to face ESL or BLPP
