"I was signed by a farm team, then traded to the Gamblers. It was hard, because I was a level 5 QB backing up a Level 10 QB. In other words, no chance at playing time to develop. Had I known this team I originally signed with was in fact a farm team, I wouldn't have signed with them."

If that wasn't enough, Michael was traded to become the new backup behind a level 15 QB.

"It's difficult. Very difficult. I am now level 9, on the verge of level 10, and am only getting 5-12 snaps a game. I've invested alot of time, money, and training to be a backup? It's difficult."

"Not only have i invested in the best of equipment, without asking for any pay increase mind you, i have also invested in the best of training (boosting)."

"I was granted an opportunity to seek out a trade, but to no avail (less than a week before the deadline). I'm not sure if the team made any concerted effort to seek a trade, but it seems they are content to sit status quo. Apparently, nobody was in the market for a starting QB. I know I can start in this league and be very productive if just given the chance."

"As far as some possible solutions to these problems...I would like the Gamblers to give me more snaps. The more snaps I get, the more I can develop. If you're not gonna use me, then you might as well release me as there is no point having me on the roster. Depth at QB, when there are no injuries, is not needed."

"Sometimes you have got to roll with the punches, I did sign a contract. I just would like the front office to step forward and do something, rather than tell me to seek a trade. I'm sure they can get something in return for me after the season...after all, I will be a level 10 QB in a game or two and you might as well get something for me rather than nothing when I test the free agent waters in the future."

When asked if Michael was considering a hold out next year..."I haven't ruled out a hold out next year. I'm just really frustrated right now. I'd like to take some time and think about the situation this offseason before I make any rash decisions. My focus right now is on getting prepared for the next game. After that, we'll see. If the Gamblers release me prior to the playoffs, that would be fine too."
