My level 6 HB

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1381908
48.65 natural speed (10 speed from equipment + custom)
i also have 8 SPs that I have saved up

I'm "experimenting" on slow building this HB.. i say "experimenting" because this is my first slow building attempt..

anyway, i was planning on making this guy an elusive back but it seems that he either has a decent rushing game or a decent receiving game but never both.. i was just wondering what y'all thought about my player.. should i keep trying to build him into an elusive back or a receiving one? or is it too late..?

oh and since i'm technically not supposed to ask this, but since i'm already on this forum, could y'all please rate my player?

Keep going elusive your back is still young and you will have up and down days and even if you have the best build in the world your team and O-Line determine just how good you really are

IMO it is too early to worry about catching the ball other than simple screens

just build an elusive rb... down the road train attributes for catching, jumping, confidence.... probably about the time you get vet abilites at level 24 he can start to be a solid receiving back... and there are some good vet abil like scat back to help you out.

the key is to build them so they don't slow down when catching... and catching in traffic. since LB's will be covering you.... you can find big mismatches.

ELUSIVE AND RECEIVING HB

1. Build an elusive back (3cap agility and speed and focus equip there)
2. 3 cap VISION

YOu won't need that much catching, because the vision takes care of the bobbling. Plus you can run on SE (helps if you are also the return man like me)

only 26 catching. haven't trained it yet, because i am still working confidence/carry. After that, it will be catching and jumping.

6.6 YPC average and 39 recs for 434 yards. He is an elusive back, but was defaulted to the HB that catches passes because the vision helps the receiving bar so much.
