Look at this play, my RDE gets off the snap right away and flies into the OT, while the LDE is pretty slow...30 speed and 10 agil less, 12 vision less, with no JTS and is so slow off the line that the ROT leaves him to go block someone else.

Here is my DE

Is this working as intended by the fine gentleman that created this game?

Well just make them really slow and overall pretty bad and they might get some hurries.

basically if you make your DE worse, he should do better

Yea just try to be so slow and unagile that the O-lineman gets bored with you and eventually ignores you, giving you a free path to the QB for a much wanted hurry.

Not that hurries do anything, or work correctly...

My thoughts exactly

Or it could be that ROT sucks balls.

Basically a DE with 90 STR 80 Speed, 20 Agility, 20 Vision would be best right now.

So slow to react off the line that the OT forgets about him, but just fast enough to get a hurry/sack when left totally unblocked.

No matter how much he sucks balls, he's 10 levels higher than the level 30 LOT that stops my much better DE than the LDE cold.

Also relies on players on the D-Line acting as "bait"

Since the OT seems to decide that the NT is more of a threat on that play because he engaged the o-line first.

Cuz the LDE takes like 10 ticks to cross the LOS

This is probably about as good as DEs are going to get most likely

It's kinda funny though, you can notice if you go through frame by frame that the ROT is just backpedaling, but the very instant the NT touches the RG and the LDE hasn't engaged yet, he starts moving towards the center to try and engage the NT, which is also exactly when the LDE starts moving and fucks it all up.

Insight into how the sim works, etc.
