This is a bit of a shout out to Irons but also to all the others in this league who are stat and scouting nuts...

Where is our Power Ranking fix? Get them in before the big games of week 14.

In case you haven't noticed, I'm a drunk not a stat hound.

I have more important things to do. So here's what 15 minutes can do. After Week 14's games, someone should update this list again. Be fair, and stay true to the person who posted before you.

1. Wala Wala (13-0)… Perfect… so far
2. New Brusnwick (12-1)… 9 straight since fluke 6pt loss to Michigan. Already took down other 1st place contenders Manhattan and New York.
3. Lima Lemurs (12-1)… Yet untested will face W1, W4, and E2 in last 3 games, arguably the toughest closeout of any team.
4. Manhattan (12-1)… Coming off a huge win: Chicago’s first loss of the season.
5. Chicago (12-1)… after winning 12 straight, could not contain Devlin Smith.
6. New York (12-1)... Stifling defense has lead to a 6 game win streak.
7. Rapid City Rushmores (11-2)… Gave Lima their only loss, then dropped one to Chicago(W)
8. Caprica Buccaneers (10-3)… Wala Wala spanked em, but their next two games are their chance to prove themselves.
9. Midwest Mayhem (9-4)… Held Wala Wala to 23pts, watch as they tear up their final three opponents to clinch playoffs.
10. Chicago Maroons (8-5)… won 6 straight before dropping one to Las Colinas

This week’s top games should show more clearly who’s top of the pack in BBB15:
1. Wala Wala vs. 3. Lima Lemurs
2. New Brunswick vs. 5. Chicago
4. Manhattan Massacre vs. 6 New York

Nice rankings. I think it's tough to do these rankings since thus far there are no cross-over games so it's all speculation in how teams will fare. Since I run Wala Wala, I realize that we're the top seed due to record only. We'll only earn that ranking IF we can run the table in our final 3, very tough games. It's not going to be easy either facing 3 teams in the Top 10 down the stretch.

I also think that the east has 4 teams that are really coin flips against each other and all 4 of those teams could be the Top seed also. It's going to be a fun ride from now through the playoffs.

Tonights Predictions:

Wala Wala Vs Lima Lemurs - This game will actually be a pretty good battle. The difference in this game as I see right now will be field position and how well both teams take care of the ball. A turnover in their own territory could prove to be the deciding factor in this one. The Lemurs are not going to find much room in the running game so must be able to open up the sky to move the ball. On the defensive side the Lemurs have been vulnerable to the run and was the reason for their only loss on the season. I fully expect for the Drunken Shriners to come out and try to pound the ball and control the game, if they get past the Lemurs first line of defense they will have a huge advantage over their seconday. The passing game is pretty much even with a slight advantage going to the Lemurs. Halliday has been much more proficient than Gezinya and the game will lie in his hands for the Lemurs. Gezinya has to pick his spots and be accurate to sustain drives. Overall I believe the Drunken Shiners have the advantage with the Lemurs looking up at them but I am going with the upset in this one. Final Score Lemurs 20 Drunken Shiners 16.

The only other game I am taking a look at is New Brunswick Scarlet Knights vs Chicago Bullets. Another very good game and a few plays can be the deciding factor. The Bullets are coming off their only loss of the season and want to come out and prove that their 12 game winning streak was not just a fluke and they can win the big games. Standing in their way is a Scarlet Knights team that has rebounded tremendously after an early loss and beat Manhattan at their own game by running the ball and controlling the game. Chicago looked very vulnerable last game and must not give up the big plays again. Both teams have decent passing games but have been known to throw Int's in critical times of games. With 2 good offensive lines I don't see much pressure on either QB in this game. But Chicago will have their hands full going against the #2 pass defense in the league and the #1 rush defense. Chicago's Defense ranks 12th in the pass and 3rd in the run. If the Bullets can keep the SK in check in the passing game I believe they will prevail. I expect a low scoring game with a final looking at Bullets 16 Scarlet Knights 12. If the score gets into the upper 20's the Scarlet Knights will be the victor. But my pick is the Bullets.

Wow, that is a pretty impressive write-up for a simmed football game. Trust me, the Shriners have had a lot of debate about our matchup against the Limas. We've made no decisions and continue to in-fight, but we have had a lot of debate.

some of our whores take that approach when servicing us. Seems to work well for them.

good thoughts, but they will have trouble here.. we are 1st in the league in pass deflections and 2nd in interceptions.. i think thats too big to overcome..

Ok, lets get this restarted... heading into the post Season here's how I see the Round 1 Post Season Power Rankings:

1) Wala Wala - Answered some questions with a strong pass D against the aerial attack from Chicago.
2) New Brunswick Scarlet Knights - Dominant performance headed into the playoffs.
3) Lima Lemurs - Strong game against the East's #2
4) Rapid City - 5 game win streak and have already beaten Lima
5) Manhattan Massacre - Solid #2 in the east. Surprised by Lima
6) New York Strikers - Close win over the Devils puts their place in the rankings in question
7) Caprica Bucs - Solid and underrated team.
8) Chicago Bullets - Aerial attack will be back on track in round one.
9) Las Colinas Sooners - Late Season push deserves some attention
10) Michigan Rage - seems to have benefited from a cupcake closing schedule... they may be good or bad... shrug.

Thats as far as I can stomach. Rip it apart, post your own, yada yada... you get the point.
