Is is that big of a deal if you're starting roll doesnt have all 8s in the non-important categories like blocking throwing etc. cuz i see thats what everyone tries to go for

If you get all 10's in the 3 that don't matter, that's 6 points that could have gone into more important attributes.

A good Strong safety starts with all 8's and about 19-20 speed. You hope to roll about 6'4 225 and you would be rocking.

A good Free Safety starts with all 8's and about 19-20 speed. You hope to be tall and maybe lighter. You could be a heavy Free safety as well but I wouldn't recommend it.

Can you get 20 speed on a FS? I was able to get 19 after 8,000+ rolls...

as underdogs said the 64 225 is fun. Unfortunately I was unable to get that high in speed.

i had a fs roll 20 strength, i ended up using one with 18 speed because i was tired of rolling.

i got a ss at 6'4 222, 18 speed again.

I dunno, with level 5's, if you're really really bent on min/maxing the best players, go ahead and retire, and then keep rolling until you get 8's and high speed.

But realistically, 1 point here or there isn't going to make a huge difference.

Also, read up about slow building. Taking a quick look at your safeties, I don't think you're doing it properly.

You probably want to train speed and agility until you have enough points to get speed to 48, and then dump them all at the same time to get the most out of your training. That's just the first step in a really basic slow building regime. There are many ways to do it, but they all start out with saving up your points until you can "softcap" something.
