http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=723&team2=974 on paper here the match up looks very similar, the Knights have an edge in Receiving while the Murder have it in blocking... but as we all know that match-up screen means shit!

The Covington Black Knights come into this game with a heavy run attack that is Ranked numero uno, averaging 417.5 yards a game and leading those numbers at HB Drew Romine mowing down an average of 293.2 yards a game! but sooner or later someone has to stop that rushing attack, right? Will it be the Brooklyn Murder Inc.? If so, they will take the Knights out, because after you get past that number 1 rushing gaming you will face a 30th league ranked Passing attack! As for Defense, the Knights weight with a 7th overall... On the ground the Knights have allowed 74.3 rush yards a game earning them an 8 spot in the league for the Rush D. As for passing, the Knights give up 244.5 yards through the air a game putting them 14th.

Brooklyn Murder Inc. coming in this game thinking about putting another W on their belt and leaving the Lowcountry Gators the lone undefeated in the East... can they get it done!? Stating above about some one has to stop the knights on the ground... Well these guys have a chance. Brooklyn come into this game with the overall 16th top rated D... not impressive, but it is their rush D that is impressive, it is ranked 5th only allowing 30.8 a game! will this force the Knights to Pass more often? If so Brooklyn may be in trouble, showing that they are ranked 28th giving up 347.2 yards in the air! This could be a close game if Brooklyn's pass game can keep them in it, because that is where they have shined. Brooklyn has been putting up 341.1 yards in their passing game and knowing stat wise that the Knights have been weak against the Passing game could help keep Brooklyn close! but the determining factor in this match-up could be the return game, Brooklyn is ranked 4th and have over 1,000 yards on Kick return alone!

The Knights have been on a roll and need this win in order to keep Lowcountry Gators close and this game they will be tested by a Brooklyn team that had one tough lost against Thundertown Brawlers.... But in the end I think that Knights rushing game will be just too tough for Brooklyn to stop and with that ball control the Black Knights roll.

Covington Black Knights 49 Brooklyn Murder Inc. 23

I should be a good game between us. The Black Knight know we have to being our A game every game as our next three games are against some very tough team. Brooklyn has been on a roll, so we're not taking them lightly. Thanks for the write up Josh.

This is definitely game of the week material....
No slight against Murder Inc but I think HB Romine is the real deal
Black Knights over Murder Inc. 35-33 in a nail biter

Wait until the steriod rumors and demands of a stripper pole in the locker room get out. Romine's career might have a few bumps in the road.

Hey Romo, I am already working on a book deal...

Romine's career started in Denver, but after being released by the now defunct Denver Gold, he signed a contract to play in Canada. That is where we really got to know each other. While spending time in the Great White North, Drew became known for the man who made it rain…or as we used to say, “making it snow" since we were in North Bay. When he wasn't frequenting local strip clubs, he was seen meeting with known dealers of anabolic steroids. I confronted Drew about it a couple times, but he always just laughed it off and joked about how loose the rules were in Canada…

Oh yeah, I’ll turn on you in a heartbeat if the publisher names the right price!

I will go on record now and say that as the team owner, "The only substances I know of taken by players are league okayed vitamines".

Okay. This is coming from our QB that is always asking our center to stay after practice so he can get under center and work on his snaps.

This would be a non-issue if our owner would just break down and agree to put the damn strip poll back in the locker room. Ever since he had it removed, things have been tough.
