I know everyone likes trophies and stats. But do the GM's in USA pro think it would be easier from a recruiting point of view if they did not give out trophies or keep track of records after the season is over?

It is getting harder and harder to recruit quality talent when they take a look at your record and see that it isnt being successful in the league.

Comparing to it baseball, no one in their right mind would rather play for a successful triple A team then for a Major league team even if it is not a successful one.

I shouldnt be losing out on good talent to a successful A or AA league team. I also understand relegation, but to be relegated because you lose with equal talent is alot different than to be relegated because you cant field a competitive team because someone would rather try to win a trophy in AA than to play for a Pro league Team.

Anyways just curious on your thoughts

bort tried to curb this with 'suggested league lvls' for players, but we never knew what the penalty was for going to low leagues. or rather, how much the penalty was (reduction of vet xp gained)

maybe an idea that you cant accept an offer from a lower league team if you have a 1 season contract offer from a higher league team.

The Pro teams, and USA Pro even more so, are already heavily favored when it comes to recruiting and I don’t see a reason to give us another advantage. Teams in AA, BBB or whatever, should in my opinion be given the same chance to succeed as we have. Many teams have it as their long term goal to get to the Pros and restricting them from signing solid players will only make that road longer. I don’t think the Pro teams need any favors, and I certainly don’t think we deserve any.

Maybe Romeo you should just voluntarily demote to AAA to win some games, get fan support up? I mean if you go to AAA2, it's pretty much the best AAA league in the World. People still come to the USA AAA level over many Pro ones out of country.

I think the bigger issue is you guys are getting reamed season in and out, and it's a vicious cycle in GLB. Broken economics, dot cetera...

Quit sucking and acting like a douche tbh. No one owes your team anything and winning teams shouldn't have their records and awards hidden to make your pile of shit attractive. Srsly...Get better or GTFO and head back to AAA imo.

As opposed to flaming Romeorr in this one I prefer to ask him a question. Why should teams like Monmouth be penalized for other teams lack of success. I don't see any valid reason that the fact that a team like the evil Monkeys has only lost 4 regular season games since they have been in the pros and picked up two conference titles to not be allowed as a recruiting tool. Parity is boring.

I think this has to be the dumbest idea I've heard of here, and that's saying quite a bit.
