Just looking for some thoughts. What does everything think is good for VAs, once you get QR up to 15, now that Laser Arm and Football Genius have been nerfed?

I've heard mixed opinions on Hard Count and Clutch and I don't remember seeing a ton of effect with Natural Leader, but that might be more effective now, I don't know. Was thinking of looking at maybe Clever Instinct, since we're pretty outleveled in our league, right now. Clock Manager or Big Heart were also possibilities, since we've been behind a lot... but my QB's already got something like 26% Pass Quality from AEQs, so I'm not sure how effective Clock Manager would actually be. Hail Mary I'm not sold on, since we're more of a quick hitting offense, than a deep passing team. Scrambler... eh. Only averaging one sack a game, so it's not like he's getting killed. What're everyone else's thoughts on this?

I'm going with clutch, on my QB. We have no clue what the bonuses are, but I guess they might be good. I'm a gambler, though.


Quick Release seems like a no brainer to me, at this point. I like the results.

I'll probably go Clutch after Quick Release, what are your thoughts on Red Zone Freak for a scrambling QB? Seems fairly lethal to me.

I guess it would depend on how often you get to the red zone, for one. Not to mention how high your base attributes are, I guess, as well. It's a 5% bonus to all attributes, so it could be useful for just about any position, I would think. Personally, though... I would want to focus on attributes that even GET me to the red zone, first... or if I'm on Defense... and I'm there, a LOT? ...Start thinking of other possibilities, for the Defense as a whole, as that's not really where you want to be.

Might be something to look at if most of your toughest season games fall in home game matchups, though, definitely Adding to Confidence a point per VA point is sweet... not sure the Stamina is much of a benefit if you're already finishing the game still pretty high in energy, though.

Never underestimate in game stamina.

Oh, I complete agree with the Stamina issue, usually. My own QB has rather high stamina from training and my mistakenly putting points into at lower levels. I've seen the effect it can have late in a game especially when the Defense tires a little. My only caveat is once you get it to a certain level on its own, a bonus like that probably isn't going to be particularly noteworthy. One of my QBs routinely finishes in the 90s in energy, playing mostly the whole game, so he's never really all that tired. For some QBs, can definitely see it as a viable option, though, I suppose.
