you put far too much weight on strength of schedule. With players gaining skill throughout the season a team who lost half of their first matches could be significantly better by the end of the season.

If I remember correctly, the order of importance for the factors used is:

1) Current Record and Record over last 5 games
2) SoS and SoS over last 5 games
3) Margin of victory and MoV over last 5 games

I expect the Aggies to be in first in the power rankings after the games tomorrow (with a win), Valencia will fall (probably a couple) due to SoS. The rankings will settle out over the next few days and you'll start to see more of how it really is.

SoS is a useless stat if we all play the same teams.

Its pretty much just valid during the middle and late season, useless in the beginning and end.

You do play one out of division game as well, so whoever faces Woo Jacks has a much tougher schedule than whoever faces Saints.

Yep thats still right, last 5 games are weighted.
