Why did the LOLB give so much space to the TE here?

It seems that in some plays (kind of random) LBs will give a huge cushion to the other team.
Is it a bug??

Coverage settings?

Also kind of looks like the LB was playing a deep zone or something.

It was definitely not a zone.

I have seen situation like this before where a player will play totally different coverage in 2 plays.

I am just wondering if it is supposed to be like this (player will play differently in every play due to the sim)
OR, it is a random bug.

Edit: If it is how it supposed to be, I guess I will just have to accept it.

I've had the same problem. My LOLB will cover the TE close and loose at random. I'm not sure if it is a bug, or confidence or vision. Anyway, I'm with you.
