Am I the only owner out here that has to take out a loan to do any kind of stadium expansions?

I thought I managed my money well, kept my player salary fairly low and I am going to have to take a loan out just to do stadium upgrades. Anyone else have this issue.

Home field advantage will help me bust out a few upgrades. Man, how do you only have 450k?

I'm planning on taking a loan in the off season, last few days actually to minimize interest.

I hate it when the Mods move forums, I bet it was that mod with the K-State pic. Bet you were wrong

Now it will be locked.

Glad I donated $100.00 to get this treatment

The Auburn (Canada) team and the Dallas OB teams I GM for are going to expand quite a bit in the off-season. I actually hope they increase the size you can borrow for next year.

I take a loan no matter what near the end of each offseason then repay it in full before the first payment. Allows more stadium construction

We will be taking a loan out for stadium expansion no matter how much or little money we have. Going for the maximum expansion makes sense to us.

When is the best time to take the loan? I have money to construct, but wouldn't mind taking advantage of a loan to do additional construction.

Is there a way you can borrow the money and pay it back before you owe interest? If so how??

Any advice gratefully received.....especially seeing as unless we have some freakish results, my Beavers look like missing out on playoffs.

The best time to take a loan out is the two or three days of off season. If they don't change the construction time period that is, which they shouldn't because there hasn't been a way to cheat it yet.

Reason: You may pay a loan back at anytime for the remainder of your principal only. You team only builds in the off season, so no point in taking one out until then. The number 1 reason though is you have 10 days to before your first payment. Your 1st round of ticket sales for the next season will hit during those 10 days and then you pay the loan off in full, thus no interest will be paid and you become debt free.

I was in the Beavers place last year but much worse off, I had only 500,000 and no construction scheduled when I took over the team.

Nice one thanks. I was planning on buying a couple of sections in the off season and will probablt need a bit more money to afford to do so. Your advice helps. Thanks

I am surprised at the amount of return that I was getting on my seats this year. Early in the season I bought a ton of seats and then every time I had an extra $50,000 laying around I would add more seats. I maxed out seats fairly early and still do not feel like I won the finance part of the game as I am around $300,000 right now with no homefield playoff game. Even if I did take out a loan I could only do 1 section of construction. I am very disappointed.

Seats take 8-10 home games before you get back what they cost. Stadium expansions pay off their investments within one season.

so do you have to "construct" stadium sections BEFORE the season ends? or can you really TRIGGER it AND build it curing the offseason? just a little in the dark on the timing issues if any...

What is the best calendar date to buy stadium sections? I want to write it on my dry erase board on my wall at work, so when all the people I work with will be like, damn Drew is buying some kind of Stadium section. Water cooler talk ya know.
