USA BBB#14 Eastern Conference

Current top 8:
1. Naked Mole-Rats (14-1-0)
2. Chicago Bruins (13-2-0)
3. Richmond Speed (12-3-0)
4. Akron Assassins (12-3-0)
5. Alpine Golfers (12-3-0 )
6. Lafayette Renegades (11-4-0)
7. Memphis Ghetto Dawgs (8-7-0)
8. Tampa Vipers (8-7-0)

On the fringe:
9. New Orleans Eagles (7-8-0)

Tough matchups remaining (top 9 teams)...projected record (record against current top 8 teams) (remaining opp ranking) - projected losses in last 4 games

1. Naked - 1 tough matchups...15-1 (7-1) (1st) 0 or 1

2. Chicago - 1 tough matchups...14-2 (6-2) (14th) 0

3. Richmond - 1 tough matchups...13-3 (5-3) (5th) 0

4. Akron - 1 tough matchups...13-3 (5-3) (6th) 0

5. Alpine - 0 tough matchups...13-3 (5-3) (12th) 0

6. Lafayette - 1 tough matchups...12-4 (4-4) (7th) 0

7. Memphis - 1 tough matchup...8-8 (2-6) (8th) 0

8. Tampa - 1 tough matchup...8-8 (1-7) (2nd) 1

9. New Orleans - 1 tough matchup...7-9 (1-7) (4th) 1

Playoff Outlook:

1. Naked has clinched the #1 seed for the playoffs.

2. The middle is still a bit muddled. If Richmond loses and everyone below them wins, they drop all the way to the #6 seed. If Richmond wins, they’ll be the #3 seed.

3. The only way New Orleans makes it in is if they win and Memphis loses.

Should be a good game against New Orleans. I don't think we're going to lose 3 of our last 4 games, but its gonna be tight. Our schedule really never lets up..lol.

Games to watch for week 13:

#5 Alpine vs #1 Naked – With a 4-way tie for 2nd place, Alpine needs this win to separate themselves from the pack. Up to this point, Naked has played one of the easier schedules and will be tested.

We are really looking forward to this game and will do everything in our power to pull off an upset!

Excellent analysis, thanks scarlet. The playoffs are starting already for a lot of the teams in the Conference!

Yeah, right now, it's do or die for a couple of teams. You guys have a pretty exciting race, especially with 4 teams tied for 2nd...that's ridiculous, haha. On top of that, you have the 2 fringe teams who have already played almost all the higher seeded teams and the 7th and 8th seed who have a much tougher finishing schedule.

I was surprised at how untested the Mole-Rats were. They've only played one of the top 5 teams and have the most brutal stretch out of everyone in the league.

Your projections look good, I have had us at 12-4 since the season started. However, I think we have small chance against the Mole-Rats even if they are the clear favorites. Both teams were at 30 overall until I added a level 1 WR at the WR #6 spot on the depth chart and we went down to 27 (that says something about how reliable the ratings are)!

(Also, Richmond Speed will probably lose more than 1 game)

Thanks for the excellent analysis. I'm on the Memphis team... We managed to win 4 out of the last 5 after a very frustrating start. We don't have the highest level players, but I think our chemistry has helped us out some. Best of luck to everyone getting into the playoffs, and goodluck once they start.

Best of luck Alpine. Let me just step out there and welcome you to the Mole Hole. Gonna be hell for a golfer in a mole hole

EDIT: nvm, we are the away team. I guess I had a premonition of the playoffs.

Great analysis. I still think the Comets have an outside shot at making the playoffs. We should at least have a shot in all 4 of our remaining games and it looks like its only gonna take 8-8 to make the playoffs. Good luck everyone down the stretch

Yeah, the Comets and North Carolina are still in the hunt, but I was getting tired, so I didn't feel like adding you guys into the picture, haha. That could change real quickly though.
