What he did last season:

142tackles 2sacks 1INT 4Def TD's 3FFum 11Pd's Decent, but the problem was that he was in a conference with 4-5 teams who were pretty pathetic... so it wasn't hard to get decent stats.... But I'm at a loss with where to go with VA's now.... and where I should go with my man now... I do have +4 in 32 EQ still to place.... and was wondering just how fast I should try to make him, if I should still go all speed with him or?

All feedback is welcome thanks gents.

for a MLB, definitely cap strength, I'd get it up to 55 at least. Probably want to consider getting tackling to 61.

Your strenght is horrendus and Tackling needs to be 60. Don't overlook confidence either.

Well, strength and tackling for sure, and you might consider putting your EQ points into agility to close the speed/agility gap.

Good point, 90 speed isn't really necessary for a MLB, and higher agility (you should really get it to 68 natural) will benefit.

Looks like a CB to me, not a LB.

Get strength and tackling up, then work on agility.

Should I keep at the rate I am and get speed to third cap before switching up, or what would be the best recommendation for build direction?

that's fine, by why is speed so high relative to agility? did you already put points into it? save you skill points until you can cap it at least.

Yes, I've been putting my points into speed as I got them. So basically stop adding to that until I can get speed up to 48 first, then add it all at once? Won't that hold the player back in performance some?

it will hold the player back at the start but make him better later in his career. The basis behind the theory is that you can continue training up the stat you want to cap at a higher % per train while its lower. So while you would get 36% per train when speed is at 20 you now get only 24% per train.

Ah, I think I understand, so basically now I should be training intense for say, speed and agility or something of the sort?

Makes sense, I've been training agility and vision, but I see now the better way. One final question then. Should I take speed to the 48 or the 60 cap before working on agility?

You want to get it to soft cap it before it rolls over past .07. Then, if the next level gain won't push you over .51, you can gain a level. You want to train for about as long as you can stand though. The point is to maximize your training.

I'm building new LB's. On my LOLB I'm training speed and agility until I have enough SP to cap speed. Then I'm switching training to Agility and Vision until I have enough SP to cap Agility. Then switch training to Vision and Tackling or jumping until I have enough SP to cap Vision. Then get speed to 2nd cap then agility to 2nd cap then speed and Agility to 3rd cap. Anyway, that's my plan. I hope it's effective.
