Warrior General Games

Anyone have any experience with this VA? I'm planning on putting 15 in both Quick Cut and Slippery for my semi-elusive back. After that, I'll have 7 VP's to play with. Scat Back, Short Yardage Monster, Tenacious, Mr. Reliabe and YAC Attack are all tempting options. My HB does catch a lot of passes out of the backfield.

Thoughts?

Unless you're running mid to deep routes, its not worth it. Speed boost on a screen prior to the catch isn't helpful, and the pass should be easy to catch anyways.

If you run routes like HB Wheel though, this is an awesome VA.

No.

I would do scat back if it fits your offense. Scat back could be great if the OC uses you right since you get a 1% to speed and agility and defenders dont.

So if you had to rank VA's for elusive backs, how would you rank them?

Just dpeend swhere you are going with your HB> YAC if your trying to break tackles. Scat back if you are catching alot out of the back field. and then i would say mr. reliable if you can;t make up your mind. I have found slippery and YAC makes for a great break tackles when catching screen passes and breaking tackles. the whole quick cut thing I would nto recommand to much. just when you level up get that. Look mt my HB>

Ball hawk is the best IMHO:

Reason:

When your HB is targeted, the speed boost looks like a fast QC where he separates from defenders. it also looks like your back is catching it in stride, and the separation created from the defender while the pass is caught gives you some extra time when you bobble the pass as most HBs with low vision and catching do.
