Vision to 67?

I've got 11 more points to spend. Which do you think will give the biggest payoff in terms of immediate performance?

P 79 C 75 V 64 Str 63 Ag 49 J 49
SA 8-11-9
VA 14 Nail 15 Streaky

I'm inclined to raise Calm Nerves, although I really want to get Vision to 68 next. Vision to 68 could just be my focus for in season level gains and next season boost.

Poor advice without reasoning, IMO. This guys is level 50. His natural gains on vision dropped at level 22, 30, 38, and 46, taking his per level gains on vision to 0.05 per level. That means EVERY TWENTY LEVELS he gets +1 in gains. Meaning basically never again. Rush-capping has essentially zero value at this point.

The real advice besides some cliche about attributes first would be to do the immediate results move (which is also what he asked for). At level 50, you aren't building for the future anymore, lol.

Anyway, vision is still probably best bang for your buck but don't listen to "attributes first then SAs" at level 50 lol.

Vision helps for CCs (and maybe for tackling the return man, but I've only had to do that twice over my career so I am not worried about that at all). Improving Vision by 3 points is almost a 5% gain to that attribute, likely meaning that it improves my CC chance by less than 5%.

I have no clue what Calm Nerves actually does, but there's this mystique that getting an SA to 10 is when the magic really happens, and right now I have it at 8. The description says that it can prevent you from shanking punts AND improve your accuracy. I'm pissed off that it feels like I have a 50% chance of punting a 30 yarder whenever I am punting from around my 20. Add to that the fact that right now at least my slider is on 100HT (mostly because most of my punts are from around the center of the field) and I could use any help possible to punt with more consistency when I'm back there.

So, maybe a better question could have been, does anyone have any positive experiences with Calm Nerves, or is it a useless SA? My CC accuracy should be higher.

All the Punter SAs are worth taking to 10 (or higher) if there's nothing more worthwhile to spend the SP on. Some people swear that Calm Nerves is the best SA, others say the same about Big Boot and Hang Time. It's not going to hurt your build either way, and I agree with octo that you're at the point where you should be looking for instant results and should probably spend the SP in Calm Nerves.

That mystique with an SA at 10 is something I'd like to investigate, as the cost from going from 8 to 10 is ridiculous.

I dunno... 3 vision +1 sp vs 2 calm nerves... I'd lead towards calm nerves.
