I figured I'd just pump speed. By being faster, they can't pancake me.

Right?

How about OL gets there speed and agility up to touch me. Can't have cake and eat it too.

Most OTs have 50-55 speed.

How high?

If you get pancaked more than 10 times a game, then a lot more. If you get pancaked around 5 times a game, a little more. If you get pancaked 0 times a game, no more. ^_^

Not that I want to throw a monkey wrench in your super awesome secret but I have another element for you to ponder. One out of the DT's control. For the first 2 pre-season games my NT played on combo racking up 12 tackles, 2 hurries, 1 TFL and a sack but our DT got pancaked a grand total of 20 times! Worried that I may not be doing my job, I switched over to bull rush for the 3rd game and sure enough our DT was not pancaked a single time in the entire game BUT he was not any more productive than the first 2 games. I am looking forward to seeing how the 4th game goes but I'm thinking I might as well just go back to combo. hmmm decisions, decisions...

Yes idiot.

1) Retire your player
2) Hack into GLB and crash it
3) Switch position to CB
4) Revolutionalize the DL position by playing as "Coverage DL"
5) Trade your player into BBB league like some Puppy and brag about your DL "dominating"

I think that has less to do with your DT playing on bull rush and more to do with the fact that the team you guys went up against in that game had a level 34 LG compared to the DT you're talking about not getting pancaked being level 40.

Most OTs have 50-55 speed.

My OT has 67.5 speed and 73.5 agility, both natural.

Your OT is an extremely rare gem. Don't ever retire him, because chances are, he's the first of his kind.

My OT that I retired also had 65+ agility/speed natural.

A lot of OTs have good builds to counter the cookie cutter DEs. Unfortunately, people don't realize that and inflation of sacks vs crap builds has made it extremely easy for intelligent people to pancake like there's no tomorrow
