I know on most occasions you always train intense

However because I want to cap strength, should I train strength normally, therefore capping strength as soon as possible, or intense training strength and throwing.

Since throwing is over 48, I will not get much of a stat gain.

Strength:
22.6

Throwing:
53.6 (With Equipment)

Intense train both. Always. You gain nothing by just doing Strength. More throwing is always a good idea.

I was thinking about training strength with carrying, just for the added protection against a fumble

That's what I did and my QB has never put a ball on the ground.
