Anyone know what the best combos of vet points would be best for a powerback?

#2 SHORT YARD MONSTER: 4% bonus to breaking tackles before the LOS

Reason being: It is another broken tackle multiplier and can help turn a TFL to pos yards. If you have 15 bruiser and 15 short yard monster, thats a +45 % chance of breaking tackles from BRUISER, coupled with a +60% chance to break tackles from behinmd the LOS. that adds up t a +105% chance to break tackles if you are behind the LOS.

or you can go with Clutch. "making a play" for a power back is breaking a crucial tackle...so that bonus will come through in that respect. I have a feeling that clutch will be used a lot to replace the attribute VAs that lots of people have.

problem with short yardage monster is the vision req. power backs have normally disregarded vision.

i think the carrying VA is still decent for those that get it to 68. i'd also take a 2nd look at streaky, as well as looking at tenacious and goal line back.

I agree with SYM and Brusier. Tenacious also looks pretty solid.

Goal Line Back is a little too specific for my tastes, it has to be inside the 5, but then again, it does give you +30% to Strength, Carrying and Agility.

I was thinking maybe Clutch and Red Zone Freak (after Bruiser of course). Red Zone Freak is kind of a toned-down Goal Line Back that works inside the 20, and on passing plays as well as rushing plays. It also does all attributes so you could get a bonus to Speed/Vision/Catching.

^^^i am thinking clutch more than RZF. If you are a backup RZF is not that good if your OC chooses to force starters in the RZ

attributes don't trigger SAs.


if you meant the reqs for the VAs, i'll tell you short yardage monster vision req is 40

I don't think anybody other than Bort actually knows what clutch specifically relates to in regards to bonuses to stats/VAs/SAs. This is the problem with some of the VAs/SAs: the descriptions are so damn vague that we have to guess what they do.

what about red zone freak? A 5% (per level of it) chance to trigger a 5% bonus to all attributes when youre in the red zone, seems pretty good.

Except not quick . . . maybe Steady Grip? The other attributes have been nerfed into oblivion.
