I want to be mainly a run stopper/sure tackler/blitzer, not really a pass coverage guy.

Current EQ:

Shirt: +2 Speed/2 Superior Vision
Head: +2 Agility
Feet: + Agility
No Gloves (money problem)
No Custom (yet)

+20 vision (20 sp)
+7 speed (14 sp)

Need vision for reaction speed, and all LBs need good enough speed

He's still pretty young and you've got some decent training left for VIS.
I'd use them all to get both SPD and AGI to at least 60. 68's not a bad idea either.

Except that I'd say that 68 is mandatory.

I don't want to not be able to tackle well though. I was thinking 10 each to Strength, Tackling and Vision. No offense, but I don't think how fast I can get to an inside run is going to help if I can't bring the powerback down.

i know this might not be feasible, but if i were you, I would get tackling, str, agi, spd, and vision all to 60, while training stamina/confidence.

I wouldn't ask advice if you don't plan on listening to anyone =/ It's been proven time and again that slow LBs fail pretty hard in GLB.

There's nothing wrong with having alot STR/TAK. At some point, he'll need it, but it's just not a very efficient way to build him yet.

If you know that, at some point, you'll need a certain amount of SPD/AGI, you may as well use your SP to get it there now while you can get some good training out of the other attributes. To me, 68/68 SPD/AGI will be absolutely necessary, so you may as well get it there quickly. Your LB will be better long-term building this way and it really won't hurt him in the short-term either. As a low-20's LB, you can get by with low VIS/STR/TAK if your SPD/AGI is high enough. The opponents aren't good enough to exploit those weaknesses yet. Actually, he can be pretty dominant with a ton of SPD/AGI at those levels.

Nobody's disagreeing about the need for the attributes you mentioned, it's just that building a great LB takes time. Trying to make them well-rounded early on makes it very hard for them to be great later.

Thanks. Don't take my last post the wrong way or anything, I KNOW I have to be fast in this game to be successful and I was going to jack up Speed and Agility anyway sooner or later (sometime this season for sure, probably after I had capped strength and tackling), I just wasn't sure about using it ALL in there when there's a slew of slowbuilt powerbacks I'll be facing off against at MLB. I'm listening though.
