Clearly there are plenty of possession WR threads scattered around, but I haven't seen any asking about training itself. I know it's best to do intense training, but with the below stats already in place, should I worry more about jump or vision early on?

Neither. Even possession receivers are best served by getting their speed and agility to decent levels first.

I would cap catching 1st, if you have to train intense on those combos, jumping would give you more of an advantage the vision.

No, you don't even have to get speed or agility as a first priority. For my possession project, I softcapped catching before softcapping agility, I think I trained jumping / catching with a bit of speed on the side.

It wasn't until 17 that I softcapped my speed, but I had very impressive catching stats regardless. As long as you have the agility and catching, the only thing you need to do is keep your speed in check every once in a while. People think you need speed to succeed in this sim, pff, don't listen to them. Speed is a max limit: Agility is what really matters.

I disagree strongly with this.

yeah, on offense all the agility in the world doesn't matter if you fail to do anything with it. Agility, is still something that's there to compliment speed. The more you have, the better compliment it is... but it's still secondary to speed (that said, I think it's crazy how low so many speedsters agility is).

Anyways, while I'm not a huge fan of jumping... Long term I'd say that it's more valuable for a true possession guy. If they're going to try and catch passes without separation in the X and Y axis.... they should do whatever they can to create separation in the Z axis.
