If I run a double wide defense, I know that both players will line up over the WR they are covering. My question is this.........Does the depth of the man 2 man coverage vary, or is it set to cover m2m in a default spot?

In other words...I want one guy covering WR1 and jamming at the line. I want the guy doubling WR1 to be playing about 6 yards back. If I set them up to start that way in D creator, will it stay offset (depth wise), or will they both be nearly stacked on WR1 like last season?

DBs in mtm line up over their WR at the line of scrimmage. So they'll be stacked.

You can move them in the DPC but it won't matter.

If they are in Zone they will start wherever you put them.

There is no bump and run in GLB, and as of season 8, double covering a WR had essentially zero benefit. If the WR beat the better of the two guys covering him, he would catch the pass every time. There is no over/under teamwork when double covering. It's just 2 dots chasing 1 dot, and that 1 dot has the same chance of catching as he does against 1 dot.

Play 1 CB close and the other farther away in each players tactics. Might help.

or play one man the other an under zone...still if you are beat deep you are screwd.
