Rockford Warriors showing up made it into the top ten! A win over Budapest and Cincinnati, then winning out which should not be hard may give us the eastern 4 seed.

Also its really unfortunate that we cant rid our league of 6 teams this season or even 8.

Alpha really needs to lose the bottom 5 and Zeta the bottom 3.

Maybe we can petition Bort to help us lose more team to more quickly improve and balance play in EE Pro.

I think just losing those two will be enough to get the competition up. I mean look at a team like mine. after a really bad off season, i am rebuilding and getting players resigned. But oyu have the advantage with keeping almost your entire roster from last season. I don;t call it being more competitive I call it haveing all players from last season that are all around the same level. And some of use with teams that had to resign new players to replace old starters have lower level guys on our team and will never catch the higher level guys you have on your team. So that being a true statment who will ever be compitition to you? No one as long as you keep your roster from season to season, to season. It is just a fact. You have an average starting player level at 16.41. and teams like myself have a average players starting at 11. Huge difference. So instead of complaining that there are to many teams you crush regularly. Try to think of it as well my guys are that much higher level, when I play these weaker teams, I will let me backups in or something. I have been looking over all the rosters and in other leagues too. except for teams that have been together longer then you have, you have one of the strognest teams in the game. So with that being said. Is recruiting hard for you either? NOPE. all players want to play for a winning team, and a losing team has to spend more money and time looking for players... So really to say that is a bit hurtfull to people out there just trying to rebuild their teams and once a power house team, looking at their roster goin um well I hope I can stay in the PROs till next year. OH wait. Next year the team that ruled the league will twice as much money, the players will still be an average 5 levels higher then mine and oh wait. I still can;t recruit but low level guys caus nobody wants to play for a team that looks like they are not an immdiate winner. I try not to say anything, but now it is getting out of hand. Why complain like this. The Devils yes he is a young kid and yes I want to strangle him through the computer some days, is like the rest of us want to play and have fun. Invaders they have fun and talk sh** and still make it a place that most people want to sign back on to each and everyday to see what is being said and how people react. Now worries. But you whinning about having a team so good, that their is no competition for you???? Come on. Try losing half your level 16 starters then come back and say that???
Please do nto take this the wrong way, I am not trying to jab you in the eye. But sometimes it needs to be said, we want to all have fun and all help each other out. No complain and complain and complain some more. Really WHY????

deep down he wishes he was in Alpha. nobody in Zeta seems to give a shit so he tries to get in the kool aid. it hurts that his Prague threads get no recognition, so he'll critique Alpha in order to get SOME kind of response. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

Rome didn't even make the playoffs last year, and we are doing just fine this year. In fact, we were beating Prague until a couple key plays in the 4th quarter helped them move ahead and then pull away.

I don't agree that we should decimate the bottom 8 teams, but teams like Orleans would do a lot better outside of this atmosphere unless somekind of equalizer was put in place for the teams who finished in the basement by a ton.

Rockford did not make the playoffs either and we are in the thick of things.

OK, See that would make sense to me. But just to generalize like that got me worked up. I do no think I am a power this year like I was last year. But believe me I will give Prague a run for their money next gaem. and next year i will be back trying to make a run again. Rome you have done a great job building up our team. you hard work is showing... Randy, please do nto take any of this the wrong way. (I think you will though). You are a good competitor and I enjoy trash talking with you and getting you fire dup from time to time about the coming up games, like last year when we wanted to meet in the playoffs. But you should really look at who you effect when you make those generalized comments. This is not a shot at you telling you, you are crap or for you to go away. NOT at all. This is just asking you to watch what you are syaing, because some of us are not as fortunate as you are to keep all your starters in place. We will all have our ups and downs in theis league. And when you have your down, do you want the entire league coming down your throat about how you should be cut from the PROs when more then likely it is not even your fault. it is just they way the league is build. Sorry if I made you upset over this.

I don't mind the relegation talk. What I mind is if the implication is there's something wrong with the team's management or gameplanning because we're having a hard time competing with teams that had a roster at the start of the season.

Folks who got started in early season 1 don't realize how hard it is to recruit FAs in season 2, especially if you have a losing record. Nor do they realize how painful it is to see even your few star Season 1 players getting worse and worse as the season progresses because the morale and team chemistry keep dropping. There's no brakes on this game - once you start losing, you keep losing until you reach a team in the same straits or hit the end of the season. There's no "Any Given Sunday" when a team has 5 levels on you.

So discussions about competitiveness (which it seems Randy is mostly trying to say) are completely OK. I'd love a magic wand that levels the playing field and if that is relegation, then that's OK. Of course, the trouble is I doubt AAA is any different, plenty of Season 1 teams there, too.

However, the minute people start getting superior attitudes about their head start, then feel free to flame on

Sarg truer words have never been spoken. SO now I must eat crow and say sorry to everyone. I got fired up, over this little thing. and I do apologize to everyone for it. Sarg I understand what you mena about low chemistry and once you start losing you keep losing. This game is very unforgiving in that aspect. Chemsitry was a good idea, but I think it hurst alot fo teams... mostly the ones who are trying to build up to try to win, so they drop more passes. and then the player morale goes down, it is a never ends sprial to the bottom and the bottom leagues. Caus I know the AAA and the AA have teams that can compete with over half of us in the PROs

I don't think you have a need to apologize. Everyone has their own opinion. If I was in the bottom 8 and someone said my team (if I owned or gm'd, of course) should be cut down to the next level, I'd be fucking pissed.

Of course what you say is true as well. It's not as if AAA leagues are a joke. I'm on another one of Hazy's teams in AA, and we'd give a lot of folks, top teams included, a big run for their money in this league.

Why do you all have your panties in a wad? There are 8 teams that are clearly non-competitive several of them arent even trying. Its not like its a mystery to anyone what is going on.

Not trying very hard to recruit or do anything about their blowout losses for the last 2 seasons:
Orleans
Kosovo
Grodno
Bison

Just non competitive (who knows why?)
Blue Wave
Warsaw (we know why here I mean .. Sarg has an excuse and I dont fault him at all)
Sea Monkeys
Gilwice

Last season there were teams that didnt make the playoffs just because they started late and took over a team that had a crappy record (I took over a 2-5 team for example).

Rome SHOULD have been in the playoffs last season, because Budapest Blue Wave made 8th seed and we crushed them 41-10, Rome would have been a MUCH better game, but Hazy took over a team with a much worse record, I said before the playoffs last year when I was writing my reports that Rome is probably at least a 5th seed at the end of last season, however it was not so.

The entire league would benefit from the level of play rising, because:
1. We would get more respect from other leagues .. I am Eastern Europe fan all the way, I have no desire to go anywhere and even if there was a champions league and I was fortunate enough to represent EE, I would want to come back here if and when we were relegated.
2. Because defense needs snaps too. These non-competitive games are good for stats or people that lust after big stats, but honestly you cant even tell who is a good team from stats right now because your stats get so bloated by blowing teams out. Take a look at the most recent game between Rome and Prague .. that was a tight game with two teams that are somewhat close in level, THAT is what I want, solid games. Also defense doesnt get snaps if the opposing offense cant stay on the field.
