Since Miami lost last game. There is a tie for first again. Miami owns the tiebreaker on Cleveland. I am not sure why Las Vegas is listed above Cleveland because I don't understand exactly what the system is using to determine tie breakers. Anyway, todays game will be very important. Let's get to the predictions.
Miami Brawlers(10-1) vs St. Louis Assassins(6-5) 42-0 (correct 58-0)
We know now that Miami is beatable. But not by St. Louis. They may score on them but not much if they do.
Las Vegas Flyin' Elvis(10-1) vs Cleveland Gladiators(10-1) 15-17 (correct 3-14)
Las Vegas is on a 10 game winning streak. Their only loss coming from their first game. They proved they can win the big game last week. Cleveland hopes to slow down their vaunted running attack even though it is rumored that their Defensive Cooridinator is out of town. This is the classic battle between a heavy one-sided attack(running of Las Vegas) to the balanced jack-of-all-trades attack of the other. Cleveland wins a close one here.
Chocolate City Cha Chings(9-2) vs College Station Stallions(1-10) 44-0 (correct 27-3)
Another tuneup game for CCCC. They are heavily favored in the next few games before they hit the second rough stretch of their schedule. They are hoping their chemistry improves by then.
Georgia Storm(8-3) vs New Jersey Revolution(6-5) 33-6 (correct 24-16)
Georgia is also in an easier part of their schedule having already played Cleveland, Las Vegas and Miami. They still have to face CCCC later in the year but for now should put up some easy victories.
Chicago Storm(6-5) vs Virginia Hustlers(3-8) 27-15 (correct 26-3)
Since winning their first three games, Chicago hasn't been able to put two wins together. They have a good shot at doing just that if they can put Virginia away early and stay on top of the lead.
North Carolina Nudists(6-5) vs Chicago Commandos(1-10) 44-0 (correct 62-0)
The Nudists are sitting in contention for the playoffs. Three of their last five games should be easy wins for them so I see them getting there.
Bud Dry Beer Barons(4-7) vs Liberty City Convicts(2-9) 34-12 (correct 22-13)
The Beer Barons should get another win against the Convicts. They haven't done well on either side of the ball all year. They are pretty much out of contention for the playoffs so can concentrate on rebuilding this year.
Milwaukee Beers(4-7) vs Nashville Crushers(2-9) 17-21 (incorrect 35-17)
The Crushers pull off an upset win this week. I wanted to get a bit risky with my last pick. Spices things up alittle.
Last Week 5-3
