A bit earlier than usual, but here is the "annual" look at the current average team levels in the Alpha conference. Of course I realise there is still some recruiting going on, so I will hopefully be able to have another look before Day 0, but this is what it is as of yesterday morning.

50.89 Graz Grizzlies; 44 players; median 51
50.68 Woodridge Lumberjacks; 41 players; median 51
50.63 E-City Mercenaries; 48 players; median 51
50.38 Greenwood Alley Cat; 45 players; median 51
50.35 Aberdeen Wrecking Crew; 38 players; median 51
50.14 Bonn Dynamo; 42 players; median 51
49.73 FootballForum Fighting Danes; 56 players; median 50
49.5 Paris Dream Bolts; 42 players; median 49
48.76 Portland Rage; 45 players; median 50
48.61 Belfast Commandos; 44 players; median 49
48.49 London Monarchs; 39 players; median 51
48.4 Paris Philharmonic; 43 players; median 49
47.75 Hattgenstein Volunteers; 36 players; median 48
47.27 Team Perkis; 44 players; median 48
46.87 Turin THUNDER; 47 players; median 46
45.61 West Wales Warriors; 49 players; median 47

Of course the usual disclaimer applies, level does not mean everything, but as per usual it might give an indication who might have to rely on better builds, tactics or all of the above to come out a winner.

Barring any major moves most teams should end up with a chemistry well in the 90s, so that likely won't be an issue this season. Turin and West Wales are likely to have significantly lower chemistry than the rest of the conference though, so they will have to overcome that as well as a level disadvantage in the early stages.

Once they nerf the running game we will get regulated!!!

We like to play spoiler but you did get all that extra cash for that bonus home game last season. We never get any playoff money!!

On the eve of the new season here are the updated averages, and just for fun I included the percentage of boosted players as well.

53.35 Graz Grizzlies; 48 players; median 54; 81.25% boostet
53.23 Aberdeen Wrecking Crew; 44 players; median 54; 86.36% boostet
52.85 E-City Mercenaries; 48 players; median 53; ??.??% boostet
52.69 Bonn Dynamo; 48 players; median 54; 87.5% boostet
52.16 FootballForum Fighting Danes; 56 players; median 53; 80.36% boostet
51.93 Greenwood Alley Cat; 44 players; median 54; 86.36% boostet
51.9 Paris Dream Bolts; 41 players; median 52; 75.61% boostet
51.45 Portland Rage; 48 players; median 53; 89.58% boostet
50.53 Belfast Commandos; 45 players; median 51; 64.44% boostet
50.08 Woodridge Lumberjacks; 36 players; median 51; 0% boostet
50.07 Hattgenstein Volunteers; 43 players; median 49; 76.74% boostet
49.94 Team Perkis; 48 players; median 51; 79.17% boostet
49.49 West Wales Warriors; 57 players; median 51; 85.96% boostet
48.94 Turin THUNDER; 51 players; median 49; 84.31% boostet
48.74 London Monarchs; 47 players; median 52; 23.4% boostet
48.38 Paris Philharmonic; 48 players; median 50; 22.92% boostet

Of course Woodridge is essentially a gutted team now, and there are quite a few contracts still running out day 1, so things might still shift a bit. The boosted % also does not necessarily mean that everyone boosted all three levels, and in some cases I could not really tell with new additions whether they boosted, but as usual these numbers will give at least a bit of an idea.

<g> Thanks for catching that, have never noticed in my spreadsheet. Then again, as I am doing that mainly for myself I can claim "boostet" is german for "boosted"

Using my background as a German Lit Major (seriously), I can claim that statement to be false!
