Well an unfortunate family emergency has caused 12th to be away from here and be with his family for probably half the season. He is the only one with the ability to renew the contracts and I only had FA powers and AI powers. As you can see most of our team is gone and I doubt we will recover from the chem hit. Also if 12th does not show in a few days the team will go CPU anyway and I hope it does so before the season so you guys will get a quality team in it's place. I know it is not good as 12th had already bought the team through season 12.
It has been fun and frustrating all in the same time, but times like these it reminds me that this is only a stupid game, and I am more concerned about him and his family.
Actually this game remind me more of a lottery than a game. You pay your money, pick some numbers and hope it all works out for you in the end. LOL
That being said, I know there was a lot of crying about how we got to PROs. I knew we were going to lose the team and I wanted to turn the screws a bit in the other thread and play with people's emotions, because I know there are a bunch of crybabies that live viciously through their cyberfootball heros.
Anyway, the whole point of this game is to get your team or players to the PROs. So if someone offers you that chance. The chance that so many strive for....would you take it??? Of course you would...no one can deny that. You all know this, because you always see posts of players wanting to come to the pros Now also remember the admins approved it, and thought us capable of competing in the PROs, we did not just decide one day to bump someone out of their position. It was on the boards and offered to all, 12th was the one that talked them into it. LOL. 12th and I knew we were on the short end of the stick and out leveled in many areas. Not to mention we were a passing team in the running era when we moved up. We tried to pull a few higher level players over to help us compete better, but ended up hurting more that helping with all the chem hits we took, and never really recovered to 100%.
So to us I guess it was better to be beat up in the PROs than to be kings of the minor leagues. LOL
I've met a lot of great people here and I want to thank CV and others for all their help. I wish you the best and I am sure some of my younger players will be back here in a few seasons. LOL.
If you are interested, go ahead and contact any of the players, because as of April 11th the team should go CPU. The admin are aware of the situation so I hope they do the right thing. Although.....?????. LOL
I actually hope NAN get pushed through again to PROs (with no trophies to speak of), it would give TSE a break as the PRO whipping boy....some times I just feel bad for the guy.
