Anyone have any experience with this VA. I know everyone is touting skill VA's and for most of my players I am following that advice. However with my level 25 LB I want to try something else other than track star.

Fumbles seem to be so hard to come by. RB's having piss poor carrying and never fumbling. Anyone know more about how fumbles work? Has Bort ever commented on this?

don't everyone answer at once. Should I assume no responses means no one has tried it? Or should I assume that no responses means it's the greatest VA out there just no one wants to let the cat out of the bag?...

Don't worry about Power Tackler just yet, they're gonna rework VA's soon and possibly add some new ones.
If you got a 25th lvl LB and you want him to be a fumble-forcer... I'd suggest 2nd capping tackling and strength. Maybe shop for a +5 % Force Fumble item, &/or +2/3 strength & Monster Hit.

Well I'd like to get a discussion going about Power Tackler now and maybe we can put together a nice suggestion for Bort and company when they do the VA rework. If I did want to make a fumble machine yes str/tck and AEQ but why not also VAs?

im pretty sure tackling doesnt play as much of a role in fumbles as people think.

i went from 2 ffm to 8 ffm due to finding a +5 ffm piece

Search around these forums a bit, people have talked about it in the past. If I remember right, the consensus is that Force Fumbles are far too inconsistent and no one knows a good clear formula for making a FF machine...other than that you probably need high strength and tackling.

Either that or no one really wants to give out the information.

I have my theories and they worked for my LB last season but it was in SA BBB1 so I want to see it continue over time before I know it works for sure.

Well, my SS has 15 in Power Tackler and 15 in Clutch. He forced 17 fumbles this season, and his strength/tackling is lower than my MLBs.

Get strength and Tackling to around 60 and play on medium tackling. My LB got double digit FF's this season and single digit missed tackles.

Oh yeah, 5 or 6 in Monster Hit helps as well.

Yes BUT does having higher tackling allow a player to play on power tackling the entire season and miss less tackles.

For instance
If a LB has 70 strength and 60 tackle and plays on power tackle then gets 30 missed tackles in the season.

Is it then safe to say that the same LB had he had 70 strength and 50 tackle playing on power tackle would he miss more tackles?

In theory yes having higher tackling would reduce the number of missed tackles while set to power tackling. Kind of hard to test though unless you have a player with like 70 strength and 0 tackling and another with 0 strength and 70 tackling. Have both play on power against the same team and see what happens in terms of missed tackles. I dont know the answer but it would be interesting to know. Does anyone have a LB with nearly 70 tackling but significantly lower strength?

Pretty sure Tackling only helps on making the tackle, whether its diving or not, and that Strength helps determine whether you force a fumble or not.

Just my theory.

So you guys don't think tackle quality increases FF chance? My gut instinct tells me it does but it's hard to say.
