LVL 48 WR.

Just curious. I have a pure speed WR with agility around 56 and I'm wondering if I pump Head fake up to say 6 or 7 would it make an impact? Thanks guys.

i would think, that if the SA was actually worked, it would make a difference regardless of agility, since it has no word of it in the description. I dont think it fires enough, as of now, for it to make an actual difference.

ps...whats your raw speed at level 48 for a pure speed?

Don't waste the SP. HF and Juke work best against defenders with low agility and vision, there's no CBs like that; at least none that are actually playing on decent teams. The first 2 in each SA tree are the best choices imo

Personally, I think HF is very effective. I see a defender getting faked out at least once per game for no reason and feel it must be an HF as I run on exact and have high HF. No other way to explain it. Of course I might have enough break away related attributes to sell the fake while most people don't. I think a buff to these will make it overpowered, but whatever, that's the defenders problem.

i think agility helps the effectiveness of the fake, but i can't say that agility is the only thing that triggers it to fire. i suspect that carrying/confidence may affect that aspect quite a bit

HF just creates the hesitation in the defender, the WR needs a combination of speed and agility to cut in and explode out of the fake to gain separation. FS and QC help dramatically in these regards.

All things in this game, including SA's working, are the result of a battle of the offensive and defensive players rolls, and head fake is no different. It probably won't make much different in how often it fires, but the higher your agility, the higher your head fake roll, the greater the chance of the defender being faked. The description for juke implies that agilty is the main trigger for headfake effectiveness as well.

Its not simply you have 10 headfake, pass/fail, but rather your head fake, agility, and a few other things I'm guessing (conf/vision?) make up your roll, which is then compared to the defenders roll (based on maybe vision/agility/conf) and the head fake either works or doesn't based on which roll is higher. There is also a random factor to each roll as well

All imo of course.

I have a HB with HF and it works well and seems to fire 25% of the time for me. Many times it has sprang a short pass into a TD due to that split second.
