On my newly created WR I've been training solely catching + vision. Is this lack of jumping going to dramatically hurt him? What is a good ratio between the 3 stats to make him efficient? He's going for a possession receiver.

Well I was going to come in here and say that catching >>>> vision >>>> jumping... but for a possession receiver I think it changes a little bit. Possession receivers don't really create a lot of separation on the X and Y axises... and thus have to do it on the Z axis, which makes jumping a good deal more important.

Catching helps you catch. I would weight this at about 3 times the effect of jumping and vision in bringing in the ball.
I don't know that jumping and vision do anything except act as a modifier in the act of catching. I would weight these at about 1/3 the effect of catching. You definitely want these soft capped, but I'm not sure they will offer much after that. You would be better taking catching up further than vision or jumping once those 2 are capped.

i'm not sure i agree with that, I think catching may reach a point of diminishing returns after the second cap, especially if you take it up first so you get some natural level-up increases over the 2nd cap, and getting vision and jumping to the second cap might yield more than taking catching to the 3rd cap.

Catching never reaches diminishing returns, I think vision and jumping do though.

Truth imo.

The amount of catching and vision you need depends greatly on the quarterback throwing you the ball - some QBs are easier to catch passes from than others.

That's what you guys told me last season.

Besides, my QB has like 163 vision, so I'm not too worries about my 35 vision WR.

Catching > Vision > Jumping

But more importantly:

Speed > Catching > Agility > Vision > SAs > Stamina > Jumping

I'd do this:
Speed+Agility>Catching>Vision>Jumping>Stamina>Confidence

>Carrying

SAs don't even make the list for WRs.

Edited for carrying.

Speed, catching, agility, stamina, vision and jumping, confidence and carrying, strength

Nothing but SAs from 40 onwards.

In response to Daddy Warbucks and Mob-6 show me a level 30+ productive WR who got +1000 yards last season and caught at least 75% of their passes without SAs?

There are a lot of paths toward quality WRs.

Show me a level 30+ guy who has softcapped vision, confidence, jumping, carrying and 60 catching AND no SAs and I will, but as everyone plugs at least 1 point into SA or has CEQ it becomes impossible to produce that evidence. It is kind of like asking someone to show you a Woolly Mammoth that isn't a muslim, I'm fairly sure I could prove it that Wooly Mammoth's aren't muslim, but given the fact they no longer exist it would be a bit hard to do to show you one.

VAs are great, I swear by them, but for the best WR ever, use the natural level gains slow build cap system to 40 then spend your next 75 SP over your last 3 seasons to anchor the build with the SAs.
