Hmm...I wonder how much you've lost from level up bonuses.

+1

You've pretty much lost the point of slow building, if that's what you are going for. Essentially, you wasted those 3 seasons of your CB's career.

Somebody needs to start a FAQ about this . . . too many people do this and say they are "slowbuilding" when in fact they are killing their player.

The point of slow building isn't to accumulate as many SP as possible. It's to maximise the gain from training attributes.

An example of that CB would be training on Spd/Agi until training is no longer viable (about 35-40). Once Spd gets there, add SP to get it to the first cap (48). Same for Agi (although Spd may be taken to 60 before Agi to 48)

Once an attribute is out of training range (about 40), or has already been capped, you add SP whenever you get it.

Natural gains my man. Natural gains.

You need to apply SP's whenever you can get a major attribute to soft/hard cap. The quicker you achieve the caps, the moar natural gains will work to your favor.

Hoarding SPs is not slow-building. It's lunacy.

Level has nothing to do with it. It's all about training an attribute to the point where you can apply your stock of SP's to take it to the desired cap.

For example:

You've got 20 SP's sitting around. You've trained speed up to 30. At this point, immediately apply your 20 SP's to get speed to the first cap right away. Then begin training another major (catching or agility, whichever suits your fancy). Save SPs while training. Once you have agility or catching to the point where you can apply your saved SPs to cap it...do so. Then move to the next attribute.

Rinse, lather, repeat.

A good slowbuild will have its first major attribute capped by level 3-4.

that's super slow build... not a typical slow build. And it also depends on the position.

worst advice ever... you're wasting a ton of level gains by waiting to get your first and second attributes that high from training. That would easily take you like 2-3 seasons. By then you'd be like 18-20ish or something.
