It may seem wrong, but it all depends on the metrics used to rate the teams. I am not trying to say Stickman's are wrong or right, but if you want another comparison I plugged in the stats for this league in my spreadsheet I use to make the power rankings for BBB #5. For what it is worth, these are the results I got:

As you can see, it isn't much different than his is. My power rankings include 8 criteria including defensive and offensive statistics, record, and how hot or cold your team is. The villians probably rank ahead of us in his rankings because his doesn't seem to account for overall record or streak, whereas mine does. Irregardless, in my rankings it appears there is clearly a top 3 teams consisting of the Brawlers, MaddenWars, and Warriors. It will be more clear cut after today's game between the MaddenWars and Warriors. The next tier is the Pythons, Villains, and DrunkN'Disorderlies.

My rankings do take overall record into account, but it's not a very large component of the rankings....obviously, since there's a 9-2 team ahead of an 11-0 team.

I also have 35+ statistics in my ranking, with some differential weighting, so even a team who's 9-2 may score better than an 11-0 team because they do better in the categories that I consider to be more indicating of a "good" team. For example, the J villians have one more shutout than Fremont, which and they give up less total yardage than Fremont, which helps J Villians have a better defensive ranking. For offense, the J Villians have played teams with more combined wins than Fremont has, giving them the SoS edge. The J Villians also have an edge in total points scored. Those are 2 of the most important categories for an offense, so the J Villians get the edge.

In the end, between this league and US A#2 (the other league I'm doing full time power rankings for) my rankings seem to get pretty close. And since the power rankings won't ever be perfect, because there are intangibles such as game planning and play calling that can't really be accounted for in a statistical ranking system, they're fun to look at and argue about.

good job fellas. these rankings are fun to look at but we have playoffs that determine the champ so nobody should bitch about where their team is ranked. it isnt the BCS. look and enjoy. debate and talk smack up until game time. thats what makes this fun.

I agree with Wylo... Thank God this isn't the BCS! The NCAA needs to drop that like a guy does to a girl who's panties make the sound of velcro when she takes them off!

They don't seem all that bs to me. Washington Capitals are ranked 15th in the BBB#4, right in the middle of the pack. You ranking by wins and losses is 6th in the conference, again pretty much in the middle. Additionally, RayRay99's ranking place the Captitals 16, seems pretty close to stickman's. Let's see a ranking system that you can come up with that is more 'accurate'. It'd probably place the Capitals up in 1st... :/
