All I see around here are speed DE threads and sack artist DE threads. Far more love for DE than DTs, and when DTs to get love it's always pass rushing DTs.

Where's the love for the NTs? Where are the guides for the NTs? The tactics, discussions, strength vs tackling vs agility threads for the NTs?

Just made a new player for the first time since season 1, and it's a DT. Still level 1 I haven't decided what route to take with him yet. I stop by the DL Club for some good reading, and I find all these DE and speed lover threads.

It is pretty much straight forward...

Season 9 i'll be making my second NT and I am pretty pumped up about it because he will be in a straight up 3-4 scheme with other players built around the NT.

I do understand why their isn't too much love for the NT and that's because it's a unselfish position that is doubled every play. There are insane builds out there for pass rushing DT's playing NT but the straight up NT is just hard to find mad discussions about

How much stamina should an NT have? When should you take the pedal off strength and move on to AGI, TACK, CON, VIS, and STA?

I would shoot for these caps in basically this order for a true NT

Strength 77 (maybe 80, but the "drift" should take care of you if you get here ASAP)
Agility 68
Tackling 60
Speed 60
Stamina 60
Confidence/Vision - 48 eventually mostly via training

Most people only care about the stats their players generate, rather than winning. Which is why NT is not that popular. If I were going to build a NT I'd probably get strength and agility up to 68, then probably get strength to 73 (it should be close already if you get strength up ahead of agility), then cap tackling, then speed, then second cap tackling. I'd do a lot of vis/con jmp/sta training also.

i think that a massive D-line general NT build is under-rated and/or uncommon. Probably quite a huge effect on the entire line

These proposed stats are for a NT of what level?

Strength > Agility > Speed > Tackling > Vision > Stamina.

If your strength attribute is not at 100, including equipment, you know its probably not time to work on anything else.

Hope that helps.
