The Michigan Panthers go down!

The Columbus Buckeyes end their winning streak and knock them into 2nd place!

It was the michigan Panthers second loss of the season, the first lost was to the Washington Wildcats, currently in 6th place.

Didn't see this thread, but good game to the bucks. That was a wild game with a lot of turnovers that pretty much came down to the last 5 minutes. Well done. Oh.. and a special kudos for being the first to endure the dreaded back to back Orlando/Michigan combo & not come out 0-2. You guys may be the only team to have done that all season, may not be the last but still..

...Thanks, I was thinking the same thing going back to back on those teams, If I could just get 1 win I would be happy.

War Kitten were so close to sweeping that series :-). A mere 101-7 margin between the two of them.

Good point, whoever has to play Orlando has to play Michigan right after, so that can be a tough stretch. It will be very very interesting when Orlando plays Detroit on Wednesday and then Michigan plays Detroit on Friday. We will have a good idea who will likely be the #1 and #2 seeds in the Eastern conference after those games.

What would be really nuts is if the inter conference games ended up deciding the top east conference seeds..

Well it looks like the biggest games in the entire season for the Eastern conference will be taking place in the next couple of days. Orlando Dogg Pound vs Detroit Soldiers on Wednesday and the Michigan Panthers vs Detroit Soldiers on Friday. Probably the 2 biggest games of the year.

The inter conference games in game 16 could be pivotal as well just like you said.

Yeah, it has the potential to be a tiebreaker nightmare for the #2 spot. In a bit of extreme irony, Cleveland could be rooting for Orlando & Michigan to win so they can claim the #3 spot..

The maidens didnt do as bad as i thought vs those panthers. could have been ALOT worse. Atleast we got some highlights out of it to boost our morale irl. our first sack and first safety. lol.

Kudos on the sack.. veronica doesn't get touched very often..and when she does there's usually a sexual harassment suit pending. But the safety probably cost you any shot at a comeback between the time expended on the drive before & after & the overall points gained from both. Still... it's the first & only one we've given up to date so no one can take that away from you.

If it's any consolation, I personally expected nothing less than a competitive effort out of the maidens, so don't think we had delusions it was going to be a cakewalk. The records don't necessarily show it, but a lot of the teams from the middle down have made significant improvements to their teams since they acquired the majority of their losses. Records don't mean squat on game day anyway.

Orlando beat Detroit yesterday and next interesting matchup is tomorrow with Michigan vs Detroit.

There was a lot riding on these games. Still a lot can happen with 3 games to go.

Either way its going to be a fun playoffs for us this year as their seems to be a lot of tough teams in our division.

Wanted to be the first to say 'well done' to the Soldiers. Well played, gents. And grats to Cleveland, since their wish seems to have been granted.
