I've always built my TE as a TE/WR as the teams I've been on have typically had a blocking TE as well. I've got my speed up pretty high but figured there's got to be a point where any more speed isn't going to make much of a difference.

Thoughts?

I'd say as much as possible, especially with how fast LBs normally are.

Mine is about 110, and he out runs FS and LB's with no problems. But in the Pro's, you will need more.

Exhibit A as to what's wrong with the sim. TEs in real football have nothing approaching "110" speed. Think Tony Gonzalez, Antonio Gates, and Jason Witten. They're effective because they're "athletic", not because they're track stars.

Sad but true.

Still waiting for the complete reset with position specific attributes.

"in the pro's" is code for "I found out about this game a month before you did." It doesn't mean anything special.

Take a look at the pictures folks use as avatars. There's a ton of them that are based on NFL (and to a lesser degree college) players. Its quite apparent that the userbase would like this sim to resemble real football.

depends on the team and offense. I would think you would like a TE to break open and spread some D. so speed would be important.
I like crayons though.

//dots running!!
