Anyone tried making a tackle-breaking machine at WR? For example, a WR with 68 speed, 68 agility, and 68 strength instead of 90 speed, 75 agility, and below 30ish strength.

See, I'm wondering how well this would work with breaking tackles against weak CBs (which is 95% of GLB CBs...). Obviously, getting open would be a little more difficult, as agility and speed would make coverage much easier, but once you catch it, wouldn't breaking loose from any tackles be super-easy?

Anyone had any luck trying this?

Yes, but you need to be level 40+ and have 15 in both Bruiser and YAC Attack, and have an OC who knows how to run an offense to take advantage of power WRs.

I've seen it work quite well on a lvl 50ish WR.

Just made the transition to "Power" WR with about 2 games to go in the season. The first game he had 199 yards and 3 TDs! Against the #2 team in the league.

He's also done fairly well in the playoffs and his YAC average is good

42 career broken tackles?

Graham has had 34 in this season alone: http://goallineblitz.com/game/full_player_stats.pl?player_id=45074&playoffs=0

I got a few WRs that are not strong guys, but as an OC I prefer a stronger WR in the #2 spot. Not only do they bring match-up problems for CBs that will miss tackles allowing for big gains, but the WR works as a great blocker for outside runs and screen plays.

Like saide before you need an OC that understands that, but more powerful WRs (Still need 85+ speed like said before) you'll be a starting WR on any smart team.
