Strong-I Slam vs a team who didnt spam it .. hardly sporting.
Still 9 in a row and the win on the 10th has an *Season 8 SI Slam BS Season.
Oh and Im no pal of SGA and Id have also gimped them just to beat them, so Im no better, but there is no reason to brag about it either.

whatever...i gave them credit for all the wins they have against us and its part of the game...how is strong I exploit any different from building a speed and agility DE (when that was still good) or a super strength halfback? its not...they are all exploits and we all know about them.

Glad to finally get the monkey off our backs! And as Health said, none of us are taking away from what SGA has done to us in the past, its just nice to finally accomplish a multi-season goal for our team.
FWIW, there was no discussion anywhere along the way about whether we were going to "gimp" them or not. No one suggested that if we went full out run that we would get the win..it was actually never even brought up. We brought in a new OC this season (who has been amazing btw), and if you look back through our series of games leading up to this, he has been trying to work different angles with our offense to find out how to make it successful, and after watching replays of other facets of our offense having troubles, he felt that going heavy with Marion would give us our best chance to beat them today, so he went with it. I honestly dont even think he's really kept up with all the SI Slam 100% run BS that has transpired over the course of this season, and he was just doing what he felt was our best chance to win....it just so happens that it ended up being us running the ball which really isnt a big surprise to anyone who's been paying attention.
You might also note that over the course of time, we have previously went almost 100% rush or 100% pass trying to find that edge we needed to win a big game. This season the sim just allows a greater level of success than in the past with the plan we used today.

just so everyone knows there is a new exploit.. if you mange to throw the ball 50 times in a game some of them are caught caught with atleast 1 TD while the other team scores 0 you win!
