The battlers knock off the previously undefeated kentucky 6-2. Only giving up a safety. Pretty big defensive effort

great match up. I don't even know why we were majority running in the 4th quarter. Admins should look into it, they need to stick to the tactics.

Big win for the Beach Bums in a big game for the playoff picture.

Yes, Beach Bums defeats Stampedes by 4. It is a huge win especially in this crunching moment.

Big games this week in both leagues.

Taiwan Royals (10-1) vs. New England Partisans (10-1)
Haiphong Hitmen (10-1) vs. Kentucky Colonels (10-1)

Should be some great games

Most people focus on the top of the table clashes, but a lot of good games are going on between teams 4-6 and 5-5. There are exciting games offensively, nail-biters, with a lot of key turnovers, etc going on in those middle-of-the-road games. I like watching replays of these games for the entertainment value. (Yes, the NFL off-season is a killer).

I agree with GG not just because im on one of those teams but also because they mean more than just seeding. They mean actually making it into the playoffs.

Knights -v- Ducks, Beach Bums -v- Stampede, for instance, from this week's round of Alpha games, were deserving of game of the week 'telecast'. The Battlers -v- Colonels game was a great game to watch, but those other games were equally important and entertaining.

Edit--The last few games when seeing the "Game of the week" advertized, I was gonna pipe up and mention how all the 4-6 -v- 5-5 games should get some attention because I'd noticed how generally they're so hair-raising to watch on film and the playoff scramble that's going on between them all, like 6 teams all vying for that 1 maybe 2 spots.

The thing with the marquee games is though, it tells you who the contenders are. Look at your game against the Colonels. I thought you were the better team, and that game proved it.

When those marquee games happen, like Hitmen -v- Colonels this week, it wouldn't necessarily be the Monday Night game. A Ducks -v- Knights could be because of how evenly matched or just exciting with thrills and spills it will be. But the Hitmen-Colonels would still be the marquee game.

The game of the year is gonna be Colonels @ Tweetys in week 15 in my opinion, though the Colonels' loss takes some steam out of the matchup.

The Hitmen may again be the team to beat. They are one of the "Big Three" in the Zeta Conference after all...

Personally, I think the Colonels are a little over-rated (emphasis on little, they are still good). Their record was helped a lot by their schedule, but they'll either prove themselves or be exposed by the end of the season.
