Warrior General Games

The first edition of this tournament has been a huge success and now that the regular season has concluded, I can start taking sign ups for next season. I wanted to give the lower level teams a chance to compete. It's first come, first serve, but unlike last year there are requirements to be eligible to join this tournament. When signing up, please include the link to your team (makes my job a lot easier).

#1 - You are either not eligible for the Elite tournament and your overall scouting report is 57 and under
(eligibility for Elite is: Pro 6 wins, AAA 8 wins, AA 11 wins, A 15 wins, BBB 16 wins)
OR:
#2 - Your overall scouting report is 54 and under and you meet the following minimum win requirements based upon your league at the time the wins were earned:

Pro Level 2 wins or better
AAA Level 4 wins or better
AA Level 6 wins or better
A-BBB Level 8 wins or better
OR:
#3 - a team that is eligible for the Elite but that I feel would be a better fit in the Non-Elite. This is my discretion and judgment only.

This will be a 128 team tournament (or less if there is not enough demand). Seeding will be based solely on regular season record and tournament games. I have three respected members advising me on the seedings and they will be assisting me with making sure the games are moving along. If you beat such and such team and are seeded lower than them, understand that head to head record is not evaluated except in instances where the two teams are close to being the same seed.

If a minimum of 48 teams do not sign up, I reserve the right to cancel this tournament.

The tournament rules are simple - failure to meet them, however, will result in forfeiture. No second chances. Period.

#1 - you must have an available scrimmage slot available as long as you are still in the tournament.
#2 - the lower seeded team is responsible for sending the challenge.
#3 - you have three days from the time you know your matchup to send a challenge. If the other team has not responded within 24 hours of your request, you must post so in the tournament thread. The onus will then shift to the higher seeded team to accept the challenge within three days. For the opening round, you will have three days from the first date scrimmages are able to be scheduled. Thereafter, you will have three days either from the time the brackets are posted in the Friendlies Forum or one of the advisory board has messaged you requesting you to schedule your next game.

Failure to meet one of the above rules will result in forfeiture of your game.

Lowest seeded team that makes it to the sweet 16 - $5
Tournament Offensive MVP (candidates will be selected by general population and voted on by advisory board) - $5
Tournament Defensive MVP (candidates will be selected by general population and voted on by advisory board) - $5

They were 6-10 in AAA, not eligible for Elite, so they are eligible for this.

And as I also mentioned, I do not think we will be a 60 after this off season, likely a 57 again. Second, those numbers do not mean to much. Look at our record, we have lost to a few 57's, and there are some 54's and lower that I would not gurantee a win against. Older players generally do not have as good of a build as a younger player. IE Likely most 40ish centers are probably pretty close to my 49 center in ability.

But, if the roster gets full, and if its decided we are not a good fit, ill withdraw. But I think the teams will challenge us as we will challenge them.
