Just something I was pondering...

Let's say that, with my FS, I find a piece of AEQ that adds to Monster Hit (I have not, for the record) and I have points in Big Hit (again, I currenly don't).

Would they work together to allow a guy to deliver Chuck Norris style hits, or would only one of them really matter with the other being a waste?

Neither would be "wasted" but they would never activate at the same time on the same tackle. Instead, both have a chance to happen, just not concurrently on the same tackle.

This is my season thus far with

--4 points in big hit
--8 points in monster hit

Total tackles: 66
Monster hit tackles: 22
Big hit tackles: 10

Total Forced Fumbles: 7
Monster hit FF: 3
Big hit FF: 1

Total % of tackles which were either big hit or monster hit: 48%
Total % of tackles which were monster hit: 33%
Total % of tackles which were big hit: 15%

Total % of fumbles which were either big hit or monster hit: 57%
Total % of fumbles which were monster hit: 43%
Total % of fumbles which were big hit: 14%

It's on balanced tackling with 60 tackling and ~53 strength, no VA's to help force fumbles

Well I have found my SS Dakka Dakka with a 16 Big Hit and 6 in Monster Hit, power tackling with the VAs to suit was regularly doing big hits and rated near the top of my league in FF. I think I was beaten by a sack happy DEs and a run stuffer DE ....

Pretty happy with his production actually. Got 19 FF this season which was pretty tidy. Our Monster Hit LB in the Same D (with 11 in Monster Hit got 18 and he has 20 pts more str but off less tackles!!).
